I was looking Just Toys Bend-Em figures on Ebay and was thinking about the collection. The line has a lot of popular wrestlers in the 90s, like Jeff Jarrett, Mabel, Diesel and Bobby Holly, while Hasbro "forgot" many of these. Does anyone know why this happened? Hasbro had no license to produce all wrestlers?
Does anyone have the complete checklist of Just Toys Bend-ems collection? I find them very funny!

The Bend-ems came right after Hasbro lost their license. Diesel, Men on a Mission and JJ are all rumored to have been part of what would have been the next Orange card series of hasbros before the line ended ... there's a thread with some prototype heads somewhere on the board. But the simple answer is the Bend-ems came after Hasbros chronologically.

You are welcome. Figures were also packaged as gift sets, came with rings and two packs known as Famous Fights.

Does anyone know why some of these are found in plastic bag packaging and others are on cards with a blister? Thanks

Sorry I was referring to the JusToys Bend-Ems. I see some on eBay in bags not carded. Were they released both ways?

Sorry I was referring to the JusToys Bend-Ems. I see some on eBay in bags not carded. Were they released both ways? JusToys had a value line, in I think just KB Toys. They were $1.99 each instead of $3.99 or 3/$10 like they normally were and were bagged figures with a generic mini card. I got Sable & X-Pac that way. Was like getting Sable free

I believe that these were all that were produced in this fashion. The few I got at retail were from Family Dollar.

I never saw those at Family Dollar, they'd just get the regular carded sets in but they stopped around series 5 here. I don't think I ever saw these in stores. Kind of a neat variation as opposed to the carded figures, I suppose.

For some reason, I think of these as figures released after the set was issued. Like they had used up all the cards and this was an alternative packaging. The open end of the plastic packaging is under the folded cardboard top.

I just ran into a bagged Chyna at comic store thursday. They wanted 15.00 dollars for it, so i passed. If it would have been no more than 6 or 7 bucks ,i might have bit on it. Ive always wanted to recollect the Just Toys stuff again someday. They got quite the use continuing my Hasbro fed from 95 up until Jakks had put more than a couple waves of BCA out.

I remember seeing a King Kong Bundy figure. It's Just Toys or some other collection?

The Bundy was an LJN Bend-em. The LJN figures have the same size of Just Toys?

I believe they are relatively close if not the same size. Mine are buried in storage or I would tell you definitely.

I'm King Kong Bundy fan. I would like to buy one LJN figure, but I don't know if he can "wrestle" against my Just Toys Mabel and my mexican wrestlers...
