I'm not imagining it because it's never going to happen.

I am all for it. Hell, I would prefer to watch a PPV earlier in the day, at least during non-football season. The crowds outside the US are much better, and would make for a great show. I understand why they are hesitant, but it's worth trying.

Obviously wouldn't happen but if the UK did host a WM I'd be okay with it being at the normal time, midnight to 4 in the morning, as that's what I'm used to. Wouldn't stop me going anyway.

SummerSlam in the UK would be pretty cool, I'm tired of it being in LA all the time.

Perhaps not a Wrestlemania, but it definitely would do them more good than harm to have a Summerslam at Wembley Stadium. All it would mean is showing the PPV in the Afternoon, which would still get just as many Buys as it's a Sunday, when the majority are off of work. If anything, it could increase buys, people could host Summer Afternoon Parties/BBQs for it etc. Plus, the amount of Media attention and Commercial revenue they would generate from holding such a huge event in London would be tenfold compared to holding it in another standard Arena in the US. They have to rely on a strong Card to deliver big buys for Summerslam, because in reality it is just another PPV. By holding it as a huge spectacle at Wembley Stadium it would bring in so much more interest.

There are so many great venues in the UK and also mainland Europe for example Wembley Stadium, Millenium Stadium or the Olympiastadion in Berlin. So finding a good location shouldn't be an issue.

If it was WM just have it 8-12 (3-7 Eastern Time) live in the UK and on the Network, followed by an immediate Network repeat 12-4, which is the normal time for WM. Simples.
A WM in the UK would have more hype and probably sell more tickets than anywhere in the USA.

With the network, PPV buys are less relevant than they've ever been, but Sunday afternoon would be one of the worst times to schedule a paid wrestling broadcast. Unless the US doesn't have any real sports that take place in August.

Just give them a non big 4 ppv and try it out. It's gotta be non football season or it would draw horrible viewer numbers

Not gonna happen. JR said the buyrate for SS92 was in the toilet since it wasn't live It had their largest legitimate attendance ever though.

I'd imagine something like this: I will never hold hands with a blue haired yellow person.

Great a Summer Slam that's Wade Barrett / Sheamus / Paige centered.
Barrett can't carry the dead weight of the other two.
