Imagine if they were to actually host a future WrestleMania or even a future SummerSlam in the UK in England considering WWE they had a SummerSlam perhaps one of if not the greatest SummerSlam of all time, at Wembley Stadium in 1992 with the main event of course being Bulldog vs Bret so if WWE were to go to the UK again for SummerSlam or even WrestleMania I wonder how all of us here in the USA and Canada how we would be able to adjust to the time zone difference and what not because it would be nighttime over there and we would have to watch either SummerSlam or even WrestleMania in the afternoon

It would be cool, but as you stated above, the time zones would be trouble for us.

The time zone thing can be said for us U.K geezers going to America every year, but I would honestly love a Mania here, it would never happen though.

Id say the time zones would cause it to not happen. Its one thing when spoilers come out about Raw being taped in England, its another when either your #1 or #2 PPV of the year is spoiled before its even on. I'd love to see at least a PPV go over there at least to see a little bit of change in scenery and how they'd handle it, but I think its just a pipe dream at this point.

Not gonna happen. JR said the buyrate for SS92 was in the toilet since it wasn't live

It would be cool to see, but unless they can find a way to broadcast it live from the UK despite the time zone differences, I don't see it happening.

I'm from the UK and I know this is a stupid idea for the WWE as a business. I don't get why this keeps getting brought up.

They could broadcast the PPV in the afternoon in the US? Didn't they used to do that anyway?

WWE would have the first WrestleMania main-event to occur under direct sunlight since 1993, due to starting it so early in the day to accommodate time-zones.
It would sell out faster than any WrestleMania in history, & they would have to hold it in something smaller than a (real) football stadium, in order to capture the most deafening roar of the crowd ever caught on film.
It would be magic, to say the least.

Time Zone's aren't an issue at all, so what if it's a few hours earlier that usual in the US?

Not going to happen unless the North American market declines rapidly. If the Network really takes off, perhaps the UK will get a "B" Pay-Per-View eventually, but I'd say even that is a bit of a stretch.

I wouldn't mind watching at a "Special Time" as just a one-off thing to see a PPV happen in England. SummerSlam is perfect because hockey and basketball are still in the offseason and the NFL won't have started real games yet. July and August are about the only two months where it lines up perfectly for the dead sports period. Baseball is still pretty monotonous until the trade deadline and even then it doesn't get good until September imo. I would watch a PPV that started between 1-3pm on a Sunday. That's the exact same way we watch football here come September, so I don't see why WWE doing it would be a big deal. Parents of younger kids would probably welcome an early start time.

And considering everyone in the UK has to stay up until 4am to be able to watch these PPVs, I'd say any USer that complains needs a good thumping.

I can barely make it to the end of Raw half the time at 11pm. I wouldn't watch anything live if I was in the UK.

If it was at like 10pm-1am then I'd watch it every week. But I'm not staying up til 3 or 4am to watch Raw every week live!
