I might pick up the hauler with Rocky, Punk and Henry provided I can find one online for a decent price. if amazon gets it instock they seem to have the best prices so far,at the very least its the same as retail but shipping is cheapest.ringside collectibles would be my next go to place, prices cheaper than retail (at least they are right now for wave 1 stuff) but shipping is quite high

Glad we are finally getting new product. Not looking forward to spending upwards of $500 to get all of it.
I sincerely hope C3 starts releasing the figures individually. I have no interest in the playsets. I just want the figures.

they have hinted on facebook that they might do individual characters/blind bags.
ive pretty much given up on trying to get the TRU Exclusive Wrestlemania XXX Ring.ill already have cena from the Stackdown Ring Set,ortons coming in wave 2,i dont really need the extra ref,so i just hope triple h gets announced in wave 2 as well.as much as ill hate buying multiple different rings,i can just build one ring and use the parts from the others (eg,ill need ALOT of those barricade pieces to fully go around the ring, and i can build a better entrance way).
im not looking forward to the Survivor Series Deluxe Ring Set after learning it has working lights and sounds.entertainmentearth has it listed as $99.99us when it releases.however when i do get it,that will be the ring set i use with the others being parts

I just got my WM30 set today, ordered from WWEShop for $21 plus shipping. I hadn't heard the pre-order price for the Survivor Series set, thanks for posting the info. I've got everything from wave 1 now, looking forward to wave 2 and hoping to get them at decent prices.

those of you who have these should post some action shots and detailed pics of the rings and the train and rumble set.i will be doing so when i have them in hand
the 'ringskirt' pieces on the rings, what are they made of and can you move it out of the way to store weapons under the ring and pull them out? the ringsteps are 1 piece instead of 2? how many barriers are included in the ring sets (including the ones for the camera and entrance),how many more would be needed to go around the ring? are the playsets built on to baseplates or standard plates (they look thick like normal plates, mostly refuring to the ring and train and rumble set).characters with tights and pants,is there any difference in the legs used or are they the same legs painted to suit the character?

the 'ringskirt' pieces on the rings, what are they made of and can you move it out of the way to store weapons under the ring and pull them out? They're cardboard and they have a little hole in them that a little pin/plug goes through to connect to the brick behind to hold them in place. I haven't assembled the ring yet, but I don't think there's any movement to the ringskirt once it's set up. There are only three sides of cardboard though, the other side I think is left blank for the purpose of weapons etc. Yeah, the WM30 ring has two sets of steps. They're just one piece each, which seems like a strange choice to me. I don't have my Stackdown arena ring here to check (and haven't opened it yet), but the WM30 set includes 6 barriers total (2 for around the ring, 2 for the entrance, 2 for the camera). You'd need about 20 to go around the ring -- though each barrier is 6 studs long, and the baseplate length isn't a multiple of 6 so you'd have to have a gap either at the corners or between some of the barriers. Also, the baseplate is designed for the default configuration and the steps in the corner do go pretty much to the edge of it, so you'd have to either use a different base or move the steps to completely line the ring with barriers. I'm not entirely sure of the terminology because I'm not a lego guy (these are the first construction toys I've owned since I was about 4) -- I've referred to it as a baseplate above but I think they're probably normal plates. The WM30 arena is built on 4 purple plates. Same. The ref has the same legs (with the kneepad mold) as the wrestlers, just painted differently. All of the bodies are exactly the same except for additional pieces ie hair on Kofi/Sandow/Sheamus and coats on Sandow/Miz. I don't know if any of what I've said has made sense, so here are a couple of pictures that might help establish some of the info you need. Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

No problem. Speaking from experience, I've ordered a couple of things from the US Toys R Us site delivered to the UK this year and had no problems thus far. And honestly, even at $51 AUD including shipping I think it's a great price. That's still cheaper than the standard Stackdown ring set at UK retail.

alright so ive now placed 3 of 4 orders to complete wave 1,dont know when ill be placing the 4th as i ran out of money 1st 9/7 - Stackdown Ring Set from amazon - $88nz (5-10 day shipping, estimated delivery date 24/7.11/7 currently with iparcel) i think this is being delayed as its status has been received at iparcel since 11am on 11/7,why wasnt it shipped out later that day? 2nd 13/7 - Wrestlemaniz XXX Ring Set from toys r us - $48nz (waiting for shipping confirmation) hoping for the email tomorrow. 3rd 14/7 - Train & Rumble Playset,Undertakers Entrance from amazon - $62nz (9-12 day shipping, estimated delivery date 4/8! waiting for shipping confirmation) email should be tomorrow if not later today. i understand being in nz im 18hours ahead of usa time so my TRU order wont have even been looked at until a few hours ago, same with the 2nd amazon order. ive be getting Santino Marellas Cobra Cage,Kofi Kingstons Ladder Match,High Flyin Sin Cara & Damien Sandows School Of Hard Knocks sets from ringside collectibles as soon as i can, cost will be about $70nz including shipping

Which other minifigures are compatible with these? The Mega Bloks Call of Duty and Halo figures are almost in scale (slightly smaller), but are way more detailed so they look odd with the blocky WWE minifigs. I might take one or two out in my pocket and browse different construction lines to find some other figs to be crowd/arena staff etc.

Good idea, thanks! Earlier in the thread, it was mentioned about a Shield Train & Rumble set. Is there a listing for this somewhere or is it based on the picture from Toy Fair that had the Shield guys posed on the Sheamus and Rey Mysterio training playset?

I think WWE minifigs might be licensed from the same company that makes Mini-Mates, Diamond Select Toys. I'm not sure about the UK, but TRU carries a variety of them in their US stores. They're usually sold in 2 figure packs and are not part of a construction line. google images

I do have a couple of Mini-Mates that I bought years ago, I think zombie Daredevil and Spiderman or something like that. I've got no idea where they are. I'll order a couple more. Have you assembled that arena yet? If so, how easy/hard/frustrating is the assembly? Not yet, probably will in the next couple of days. I've only assembled the Kofi ladder set and the Sandow school so far. The school was a lot faster/easier.

I'm contemplating buying one but I want to hear from someone who has one how the setup goes before I take the plunge. How are the figures that come with the playsets? Paint application and everything good?

How are the figures that come with the playsets? Paint application and everything good? Yeah, I'll let you know (but keep in mind I'm a novice when it comes to construction toys so you might have an easier time than me). I know the blocks have an issue with warping compared to Lego, so sometimes it takes more work to get them to fit together flush instead of corners of pieces popping up etc. The paint apps are pretty perfect on mine. I really like the figures. The style is simple but works well.
