I was afraid to pull the cord initially, but I did and found that the sound mechanism still works. Phew!

I still have mine, although mine has his traditional style face paint and is not a prototype. I regret cutting his talking cord off. I didn't like it as a kid.

I had the regular version as a kid with the full face paint. I still have it too! Voice doesn't work as well as it used to but, I won't ever let it go.
