Good for AJ that he's able to make a good living essentially working for himself. He's not a dumb guy so I think he knows that his window of opportunity to make this kind of money without regular national TV exposure will be small, so he has to cash in now. I'm still surprised that he's getting paid so much but I guess he's being booked in the right markets, plus a lot of Indy promoters are marks that book guys for the sake of meeting and hanging with them, so good on him if he can take advantage of the situation.

I watched ROH last night and they definitely out drew TNA.

In 1997, a local indy show had autograph signings with Salvatore Sincere and Iron Sheik (different back to back nights) at a Wal Mart so perhaps the indys feel Wal Mart is a good locale for promoting, or hosting a show. It seems like something you'd have to go through corporate for but I guess not.
I like the lady on the far left. It looks like she's on a cell phone, probably calling home "pop, bring the kids! It's that double U double U E wrestling here!"
