I thought the Maximum Aggression line was the nicest series Jakks had ever done, but that was down to how much detail those had, and that they had the far more realistic body and hand molds. Since Mattel already does such great work at the small scale, a better line isn't necessary. See, the Jakks line had nothing to do with scale, and everything to do with quality.
I would probably pick up a Hot Toys style figure of Hulk Hogan or Stone Cold, but little else. I certainly don't give two poops and a motherfudge about the twelve inch figures out now with their whiteless eyes and everyone having the Del Rio torso.

Jakks' attempt at 12 inch figures was 150X better, and that is very rare to say in 2014. The headscan, body molds, and...
fabric clothes, knee pads, elbow pads-
for their 12 inch line.

They should make flashbacks like hogan, warrior, macho, the rock, stone cold and then they'll sell I agree with this man!

I want a Big Show to use with my regular figures, outside of that I don't care.

I thought they would be something kids would adore (I know I would have 30 years ago), but they seem to be clogging shelves in every retail store. I've noticed the same trend with 12" or bigger figures of Star Wars, Marvel, DC, and Power Rangers. All of those sit in a group until they are put on clearance, but lines between 3.75" and 8" sell well.

I hate 12 inch figures. I don't like too much tall figures. My ideal scale for figures is like GI Joe or WWF Hasbro. I'd have to agree. I don't really have much of a purpose for 12 inch figs as they suck when it comes to playability and you're just never ever going to get a scaled ring for them. Display wise, they suck because they aren't quite as poseable and they take up even more room than the standard 6 inch. The sweet spot for me, being a 27 year old who grew up with them, would be 4 inch figs like hasbro. If Mattel introduced a new line of mini elites, I'd sell my elite collection and start over. That's how bad I want that specific scale.

Thanks for all of your feedback. I think what's being missed is everyone is referencing the horrible 12 inch line that's out now.
I'm talking high quality cloths for attire, belts etc. it would be awesome.

My son is 5 and he likes the super hero 12inch figures but when it comes to WWE he prefers the basics. I thought this 12 inch line would be a hit with the kiddies but it is turning out to not be the case. If they are still around at Christmas time I think they will disappear.

Even with higher quality accessories, I don't consider myself a market for those figures because even as an adult I play with them. Only reason I started back collecting again was due to the announcement of the new scale ring dropping in a month. If I have no ring to put WRESTLING figures in, I'm not going to buy them. A scaled ring to a 12 inch figure would take up most of my bed room lmao. If they wanted to do high quality, do it in the Elite line. The damn things are already $20 a pop now, give us more.

I'd love to see all figures in 4 inches scale, but after more than 100 figures (between Jakks and Mattel) in my collection, sell it all and start a new collection is a problem. I heard something about the collections of a manufacturer being standardized so the figures under DC, Marvel, Indiana Jones, etc. all on the same scale, but did not know if it ever happened it.

They should combine slam city, super strikers, and the 12 inch figures into one line, and create an MSR (mega-scale ring) for the figures! MAttel's Megaist ring ever: 48 inches by 48 inches!! I'd buy a 12 inch rubber figure with striking action! I don't know about the MSR, I'd have to see proto pics first.

There was never any chance for a Sideshow Toys or Hot Toys style WWE range anyway. If anything, maybe a very, very occasional figure of a huge legend... Basically at the same rate as the McFarlane statues.
