Paying tribute to his former partner and friend who passed away last week is "stupid" really?!? Thats what I said....They may have been partners, but by no means were "close" talking every few years isnt considered blood brothers.. not saying it isnt cool to see him in the documentary, but for that to be the very first time we see him, definately stupid....hey everyone, been waiting 2 decades for sting to come to wwe, when he finally does, he debuts on a documentary......ya......STUPID They werent close. I think Warrior even made it clear tonight when he said he left Sting behind b/c he didnt want do what people were telling him to do...he had his own ideas. He was brutally honest about it. They both went their seperate ways. I think Sting was included in this b/c he was there on day 1 for Warrior. The fact that these 2 HUGE names in pro wrestling started together, tagged together and eventually split.....is the story. Anyone who was around for The Blade Runners knows they werent much of anything during their time. They were as green as goose crap and were widely considered Road Warrior ripoffs. The reason they have notoriety today is because one would become The Ultimate Warrior and the other would become Sting and Warrior and Sting would become wrestling icons.

So many Sting threads and no official word on if he signed? Sounds normal around here. Don't worry, someday he'll sign or not sign and everything will be back to CM Punk and Triple H's ego in no time. That is so true.

Merged the two Sting/Warrior Week threads here...keep talking away about it here and please do not create another separate one on the board; no need to, really. Thanks.

That was a really good watch. I'm assuming part of the footage came from the recent DVD mixed with more recent footage shot just before and after his death. Absolutely heartbreaking to watch.
As for the Sting stuff, it does not indicate he has signed, but it certainly indicates that him and WWE are talking.

Tonight's Warrior documentary was one of the best pieces of material I've ever seen WWE produce. I truly hope they release another DVD with this documentary on it.
I believe this piece really does "set the record straight" the way Warrior would have wanted.... WWE really did a classy job. It was frank, honest, heartbreaking, and inspiring all at the same time.... with tearful thoughts from Vince, Triple H, and Sting himself.... "behind-the-scenes" footage of Warrior negotiating his WWE return and WrestleMania weekend.... and candid interviews with Hogan about Warrior's WWE departures and the WCW fiasco. Hogan admits that he considered intentionally breaking Warrior's leg due to his backstage behavior!
Amazing work..... I'm watching it a second time, if you haven't watched it yet do yourself a huge favor and check this out....

Incredible documentary. I really hope they release it on DVD.
Amazing that they got Hogan and Warrior making up on camera. And I know that Vince is going to cherish that book that Warrior gave him until the day he dies.

That documentary deserves a spot on primetime national television. What a story. What a roller coaster ride.

So if Sting isn't signed why are there reports of a Sting DVD set for Sept 29 release? He has to be signed if they are releasing a DVD for him.

So if Sting isn't signed why are there reports of a Sting DVD set for Sept 29 release? He has to be signed if they are releasing a DVD for him. It's just that there are people who really relished the fact that Sting stood up to Vince all these years and never "sold out" like EVERY other big star eventually did. And it's hard for them to come to grips with the fact that he's doing it now. He may never compete in a WWE match, which is something he and his fans can always say, but we all should've known it was only a matter of time before Sting signed on for a comprehensive DVD, Hall of Fame induction, and merchandising deal. His legacy is set. I'm sure he wants people to remember it and learn about it. Sting can't solidify his legacy if 98% of his significance is owned by someone he refuses to do business with. He's smart enough to realize this. He is smart enough to realize his past can still make him some money and provide for his family, and maintain his lifestyle. It was ALWAYS going to happen eventually. Those people who said "he'll never sign" were too idealistic, and they're in denial.

Just watched the Ultimate Warrior documentary and all I have to say is WOW. Jesus Christ I think that may have been the best 60 minutes WWE ever produced.
