My DVR didn't record Raw for some reason, so I only saw the last 30 minutes. When the music hit, I was very confused. I didnt know if I missed something earlier in the show because the announce team wasn't putting it over as a big moment. Regardless, it will help elevate the Shield, Orton & Batista have something meaningful to do while not being in the title picture. Everything seems good to me.

What are you talking about.. The idea of Evolution wasn't to take out a rouge faction who fights for justice..the idea of evolution was triple h bringing together 2 of the brightest stars at the time with flair and elevate their careers. Nothing is being recycled. 3 guys are forming an old team to take out another..so. You should really think about what you say before you post and make no sense So reusing Evolution isnt recycling an idea? Elevate their careers? In the end they were there only to benefit Triple H cause as I can recall when Randy Orton got the title, they dropped him and Triple H took the title. I know what im talking about. I know that they are trying to take out The Shield now. Thats not what I meant. I wasnt talking about that idea, I was talking about the idea of evolution reforming again. I was never a fan of Evolution. Everyone makes Evolution out to be one of the stables when it really wasn't. I hated watching in 03-04 when they ran rough shot through everyone. It was very boring television at the time and a cheap knock-off of the 4 horsemen.
That stable was supposed to make Randy a star but made him look weak when he broke off with the title and Triple H beat him a month later for it.
I never liked the idea. And I'm not even thrilled that they are together. It wasn't really a special moment that deserved a pop. All I'm looking forward to is Shield beating the piss out of these has-beens.

When Daniel Bryan doesn't main event the PPV, it will be sad. But Evolution vs the Shield should be pretty awesome. Though the start of the story is the exact same one Hunter just did with D Bry - he always seems to find his way into the spotlight vs popular wrestlers. |

Bryan vs Kane isn't going compete with Evolution vs Shield. Bryan will main event special events but it may not be the next one. And what if Shield wins? Beating HHH in the main event. |

Great for business - absolutely. Now though, Orton and Batista are nowhere near as inexperienced as they were, they are all World champions; The Shield will benefit greatly from feuding with them.

Pretty much nothing, the only memory I have of him was when he gave us an injury update at Survivor Series 2002. Shortly after leaving Evolution, he was involved in one of Taker's best Wrestlemania matches in 2005. Same goes for Batista, he was just a bodyguard who held a collection box before joining Evolution. Fast forward three years later, the guy is over as  , wins the Rumble, headlines Wrestlemania against Triple H and gets three consecutive PPV wins against him. Sounds like career elevation to me. |

The Shield beating H/Orton/Batista is good for business... but the formal reunion of Evolution has zero impact on business. It is a "legendary stable" only in H's mind, and the name isn't going to be a draw at all these days.
And Orton/Batista formally becoming H's lackeys is terrible for business.
