I was curious if during the 10 Bell Salute that do when someone passes away, do you guys keep silent? do you stand for them or remain seated?
Are their any other traditional shows of respect you guys do after the passing of one of your favorite wrestlers?
I thought of this tonight as everyone in our house stood silently as they honored Warrior with the ringing of the bell. As I stood there side by side with my sister it took me back to 2005 as we stood, crying, watching them do the same for Eddie.

I don't stand unless I'm there live. I do keep quiet and stay seated until it is over.

I don't stand up or do anything special, I usually just watch the TV sitting down. I don't usually talk during them, I'm not sure why I think it's just because other people watching are showing their "respect" in their own way.

I was standing.
Also went into the other room as to not cry in front of my buddy.

I just watched on TV. I think it's appropriate to stand if you were actually there.

I just sit down quietly and not talk. I almost cried during Eddie's Raw memorial though.

I sat quietly and thought of how much Warrior impacted WWE. I'd stand if I were there live.

I didn't stand but I didn't make any sounds either. Its the same reaction I give to the National Anthem when it is played before a sporting event. If I was there in person I would stand but not at home alone.

I hushed my son during the 10 bell salute, I'm trying to teach him the proper way to show respect during these things....
I would stand if I were there live - but in my living room, only silence.
I did love the video package they put together.... very classy. As I've said, nobody honors the dead like WWE.....

Mad Dog Vachon & Billy Robinson both passed away recently. They've done more to influence the professional side of the craft individually than Warrior was able to, by length of tenure, if nothing else. They were practically ignored by WWE.
That's my response on their showing of respect. Secondly, save your lectures about supposed social relevance. I'm aware of every possible reason two of the modern craft's great innovators were either given minimal attention, or ignored all together.
It doesn't make me any less aggitated with the matter.

remain silent. It wasn't about glorifying Warrior or his death it was about respect for him/ his family/career in WWE (F). You cant compare a wrestlers death to another wrestlers death and question the amount of TV time WWE gives to a tribute. Its just not the right thing to do. keep things positive and respectful at all times.

If you're there live then you stand up and keep your mouth shut.
If you're watching on TV then there really are no rules.

I stand if I'm there live. Take off my hat too even though that's usually for the National Anthem. I stay quiet at home.

I ran around my house like a mad man. I think Warrior would of wanted it that way.

I was at home and I just didn't say anything during the salute. I just kept thinking how weird it is that Warrior is dead when just a week ago he was all happy being back on RAW and in the WWE. The video was awesome, I did get a little choked up when they showed his daughters. Poor girls. My heart goes out to them.
