I was at this match with Rick Rude on now. My first live WWF event. Rude sold an atomic drop better than anyone. Agreed. Of all the moves i remever Rude selling well was the atomic drop. He sold everything really well. Its all about body posture with Rude, watch how he sells/how he shapes his body and still manage a pose in pain he was excellent.

So Ultimate Warrior's 2k14 commercial popped up on my youtube feed. And I decided to watch it for old times sake and the first thing he said in that commercial is just saddening to hear now.

Tonight's special is outstanding. Sit down interview with Sting and a lot of others, behind the curtains interviews with Warrior during the HOF weekend, etc.

Vince McMahon crying, HHH crying, Sting got a bit choked up, etc.
Warrior's last line in his interview as he was leaving the arena at Raw, before jumping into the car, he said he couldn't wait to see what the future holds...so damn sad.

God I started crying at the end with all the behind the scenes WrestleMania weekend, with his girls, and giving Vince that little engine that could book.

Everyone please bare with me as I typed this out to share with my Facebook friends before posting it here. I've spent the past week thinking about what I should say and how I should say it. When I was a little kid I wasn't a Hulkamaniac. Now don't get me wrong I like Hogan now and respect everything he's done for the business, but I just wasn't a Hulkamaniac as a kid. I was a little Warrior. As a kid I was a big fan of guys like Hillbilly Jim, Jake Roberts, and Macho Man Randy Savage. I cheered them, but it wasn't until I noticed the Ultimate Warrior that I became hooked for life on wrestling. The Warrior was like nothing I had seen before. He had so much intensity and energy. He looked like a real life superhero with the tassels, the face-paint, the long wild hair, and the bright crazy colors. He was so much fun to watch and as 7 or 8 year old kid I was glued to the tv every week to see what he would do next. I remember going into WrestleMania 6 and looking forward to the epic battle between The Warrior and Hulk Hogan. It was gonna be good guy vs good guy, something I'd never seen before in wrestling, and the fans were having to pick sides. All my friends at school were wanting Hogan to win, but I was pulling for the Warrior. In the Summer of 1991, the Warrior vanished from the ring and spent the next few months wondering where we was and when he was coming back. He returned in 1992 and I got the opportunity to see him live. It was amazing getting to see my hero in action. But in November he vanished again. The Warrior made 1 more run in the WWF in 1996 and this 13 year old kid was glued to the tv screen just as he was when he little. The Ultimate Warrior played the most important role in me being the huge fan I am of wrestling. He's not the only favorite I've had over the years but without him being there when he was and bringing all his intensity and energy, I dont know if I would have been pulled in to wrestling as strongly as I was. And I will always remember that and wanna thank him for that. Its sad and sucks that he's gone. But I'm so happy that he got the chance to make peace with Vince and Hulk and everyone else before his passing. And I'm so happy that he got to come back one last time for his fans. But I'm deeply saddened for his wife and daughters. And for me, saying goodbye to my larger than life childhood hero. Warrior, Thank You and I will Always Believe And I thought I would share my Warrior collection/tribute with you guys.

Only bad thing is tomorrow is the last night of Warrior Week. Legends of Wrestlemania roundtable. Wonder who the guests will be?

I wish Warrior would of came out in his gear and in character at that last raw. I was expecting him to race to the ring looking like that 2k14 commercial. It was very disappointing seeing him in a tie and suit barely being able to shake the ropes. On a side note: Did Warrior ever get over that leg he hurt at War Games? Seems he was limping ever since. In Barcelona you could see it, and on the last Raw the same limp.
