I remember this like it was yesterday.
my mam used to do the weekly food shop every Friday and for about a month, she called into the local Woolworths to see if they had any hasbros in.
finally one Friday she came home and gave me a woolies bag. I eagerly opened it up to find an Andre and akeem. Although i was pleased to finally get some wrestlers i have to admit i was thoroughly disappointed with those two...my least favourite wrestlers at that time.
a few weeks later though she came in with rick rude, macho man and the rockers and i never put them down.

Well I got a huge lot when I was about 8. My dad got ahold of those old ToyBiz WCW guys. I got Rick Steiner, Luger, Hart and Goldberg. I just remember how cheesy the accessories were. Bret had that mobster vest, Luger had a torture rack and Steiner had a gargoyle.
But honestly the first I bought myself were Chyna, Sable and Sunny bend ems. Did anyone else's Big Lots have like an entire wall of Bend Ems? They weren't carded, they were in plastic with header cards. My Big Lots was stacked with peg after peg of those three, Brian Christopher, Taka and someone else that I can't recall. I bet you there was at least 100 to 200 of each. Or maybe it just seemed like that when I was a kid haha.

Mine was a tiny' maybe 2 and a half inch, die cast hulk hogan in red and yellow. I could never figure out what series it was from. I tried for forever to find it again and have had no luck.

Chrismas 1987 (I thought it was '86 but the video camera said 1987; can't remember if the year was set wrong or not) 1st figure unwrapped that morning was LJN Muraco. I also received Hulk #1, Andre #2, and Kirchner that day, along with the ring. I put in the VHS because I was curious about the year and so I thought I'd try to capture a snapshot. It's hard to see but the first pic is me holding Hogan in my hands after just unwrapping him, and the second is me pressing down on a ring post as I'm trying to assemble the wrestling ring (it wasn't easy to get those in all the way). Haha! Good times!

Hasbro Warrior, Macho Man, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Mr. Perfect, and the Rockers. I got them all in the same year for Christmas. 92ish maybe?
The first figures I paid for with my own money were BCA Diesel and HBK. The were both the re-release versions.

Christmas 1985, I got LJN Hulk Hogan along with The Wrestling Album on cassette.
Looking back, the card must have been a 5-back too. Because a couple months later I saw "Rowdy" Roddy Piper in the store and was excited because I didn't know that figure existed (only way I would have known was from an advertisement or from seeing it on the Hogan card back... no Internet back then.).

Mine was either Smash 'N Slam Scott Hall or a Sting/Hogan 2 pack from WCW that came with the base plate. Great figures, I still have Hogan and Sting but Hall got destroyed many years ago =/.

I honestly can't remember my first wrestling figure...I think it might have been Hulk Hogan WWF Hasbro Series 1. I only say that as mum used to get me them as treats and he was about the only one she knew and as there was so many of the Hulkster figure available in all shops!

The first I received was a M.U.S.C.L.E., but I discover it 20 years after I loose this figure. The first I received and knows it was a wrestling figures was a 2 pack of AWA Remco, with Hulk Hogan and Iron Sheik. But I discovered that he was an Iron Sheik figure 25 years after I received it. Until that, I thought it was an Jesse Ventura one...
