It was an ljn. Don't remember who since I would have been a real little kid. I remember playing with the piper thumb wrestler a lot partly because I knew him from tv but didn't really know who big john stud was even though I had him too. Also I liked pipers shirt.

I wanted to get guys like Warrior and Demolition but all the shop had in stock were Honky and Piper I chose Honky cos the attire looked cool. Weeks later I managed to get Demolition (Crush & Smash) and The Rockers

LJN Hogan and Snuka back when they first came out......I remember playing with them on my parent's bed when he was recovering from minor surgery. Good times (for me at least lol.....all worked out ok for him, he is still around!)

Hasbro Hulk Hogan #3 and WCW Galoob Lex Luger
Luckily, I would end up snagging majority of the first two series after this with exception to a few.

LJN Paul Orndorff. My Mom bought it for me. I had to save like a month to get him an opponent. It was Brutus Beefcake.

Great stuff guys. It's crazy to see the age range of the users of this forum by the type of figure they first got. Unless they started collecting later in life.
For me it was the WWF Hasbros Series 1 when they first came out. And I was able to get away with four of them. I must've guilt-tripped my mom. She lucked out though, if there had been more I probably would've asked for those too. The only ones they had in stock at KB Toys store were: Ravishing Rick Rude Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase Jake The Snake Roberts Demolition Ax
I told her two were for me and two were for my brother. Plus, you can't build a solid wrestling league with just two wrestlers. Still have them to this day.
