They are just more fun to pose. Basics look unrealistic with their stance. I really hate them lol. Very true. And that's why I mentioned poses. I thought of you after this post and was hoping you didn't think this was aimed at you in particular. Lol. But we all enjoy your threads and I guess some basics' legs are too close together. Not at all dude lol.

If that's the basic imagine what the elites are gonna look like Probably about the same only they'll bend right in the chest like real humans do...oh wait a minute. -.-

Well, as you all know I am not an Usos fan and I don't think I ever will be. But that said that looks good enough that I would buy them anyway. As for the whole Elite vs Basic arguement...I don't care either way because all my figures are displayed in you basic vanilla stance anyway so it doesn't matter. your figures are in a bowl jokes aside, i do the same thing. not enough room to pose everyone, lol.

Very nicely done mattel!
Love the torso, that's what a bunch of guys should have...that would look perfect on Daniel bryan.
And as for the basic vs elite debate, I'll buy a basic if it's a debut guy I can't wait to get, such as kane resurrected, the shield, hulk hogan if a basic comes first, etc. But I collect elites as a rule and as soon as an elite comes out, I'll replace the basic on my shelf. I'll also pick up basics for head swaps if I like the scan better.
Then there's times where I'm torn, like basic 38 Jericho whose attire I love, but wish it were an elite!

I'll never understand why people say "I wish those were elites." Accessories aside, what the hell is the freaking difference if they are basics or elites? You agree they look good so who cares if you can put their legs behind their heads you sick puppies! Articulation is cool if you display them in poses I guess. Or if you one of these fancy "feds" or whatever. I dig the basic and have since about 2011 when I made peace with them. I guess for some it is unpalatable to have to pay 10 dollars for something with less articulation than figures that were 10 dollars less than 10 years ago with elite style articulation. Marvel Legends were more poseable than Elites are now and started out at $6.99. I get that times have changed and have moved on, but some people I guess don't want to. At least the basics are still comparable in deco and sculpt. It could just be Elites or Happy Meal looking figures like most toy lines. At least these Usos will blend in with people's elites.
