Ok so i'm not sure if anyone at all remembers me, I was animating like 07 - 09 "generation". So hello and all. I recently decided I thought i'd try my luck and some stop motion again, so I went on ebay and real scale ring have gone up a lot! but luckily i managed to buy on for like $150 so where all good there but I still have a few questions for you guy.
1) what figures are good for animating i never really use mattel but some of them look nice or should I stick with Jakk's stuff? 2) Any idea where i can get tables ext cheap? 3) Not sure if anyone remembers but when i was here everyone used some program for mac's that was mint so i'd like o get that
Here is a crapty little video I made with some of my stuff, my thread should still be floating around here if anyone cares enough.

1) You can continue using Jakks, or you can get Mattel figures that people will tell you. For animating, you want to get the elites and people say that Tatsu, Kidd, Bourne, Punk, Cesaro, Bryan and some others are very good.
2) Try eBay, classifieds on here or wrestling superstore. The last one sells accessory lots.
3) Pretty sure you're talking about Final Cut Pro. I have Final Cut Pro X for Mac and it works great. Amazing program.

Shipping to Australia is good on it too. 3) The only Mac video editing programs I've heard of being used for animating are iStopMotion, Final Cut and iMovie.

Wow, I remember a while back when looking through all the threads on here I found your animation thread. Cool to see you actually back.
1) Depending on the condition of your Jakks figures you could probably still use them, but I personally think that mattels are really good for animating. Especially as Josh said the smaller guys, such as Justin Gabriel, Tyson Kidd, Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, and Chris Jericho.
2) eBay or Wrestling Superstore, but Ringside just released a TLC Pack a few months ago, hehe.
3) Either Final Cut Pro or iStopMotion

I remember discussing 2 years in a row back in '12 and '13 to see if you'd be voted into the HOF. You had quite a few nominations.
Great to see you back on the board and would love to see you make something new soon.

I am not going to pretend to know who you are, but nice to see you post here. Josh answered your questions well.

1) Continue animating with Jakks if you want (I still do here and there)but it's kinda better with Mattel figs since they take longer to loosen up (from my experience with Jakks and Mattel). 2) I never bought any accessories separately so I dont know any websites. 3) I believe you're talking about Final Cut Pro or iStopMotion. Those are the only two I know and saw people use.
Hope it helps
