you know....sigh.... Network is actingup for me again. was trying to watch Bash at The Beach 1996. got halfway through, then it started doing the whole freezing / signal pixilation thing again. went to the Live Stream, with Starrcade 1992 on - worked perfectly for for the hour I watched it. just went back to BATB, to resume watching. got 45 seconds into Steve McMichael vs Joe Gomez, and it froze again. I just don't understand how the Live Stream can work perfectly all the time, but hte Vault stuff can still act up from time to time, when using the same device, the same wi-fi signal ( which is 50 MBPS, way more than enough), and from, literally, the exact same location. Dude, I feel your frustration. I have been trying to watch the March 1996 Raw shows and it just keeps freezing up on me every 15 - 20 seconds it seems. And stays frozen for longer than usual. I know a few months ago I noticed it would freeze once, maybe twice and it would just freeze for 5 seconds. Nothing too bad, or to get worked up over. But tonight I just had it. I left a comment on the WWENetwork Facebook page about it. I even said, "I know you will say its on my end, but yet my Netflix streams just fine." I wish they had their Vault stuff like youtube. Where you can just sit and let it load up and hit 'play' and watch it without any problems.

So if anyone is having trouble with the buffering and pausing when watching on demand content, the WWE Network got back to me and told me I need a speed of 10mbps to watch it fine. My speed is 5.97mbps. There answer to this was for me to contact MY internet provider and get a better internet speed - thus pay more money. When Netflix and anything else I stream plays perfectly fine!
Another way for the WWE to screw with its fans.

I know, man, I know. It's quite frustrating. I am better off going back into the Tape (DVD) Trading gig again like I did 10 years ago. At least then I will be able to for sure watch stuff without it buffering non stop. Though the quality can be crappy in DVD trading at times, but at least it won't pause on me every so often and stay paused for 30 seconds at a time.

Though the quality can be crappy in DVD trading at times, but at least it won't pause on me every so often and stay paused for 30 seconds at a time. the ultimate issue is two-fold: 1) they're using the same system that MLB Network uses, and that has been having issues since launch as well. 2) not enough server space. I've argued with them over and over about this... the reason for most of the lag is server space. the Live Stream usually runs great cause they have a massive amount of server space allotted to it, so it can handle a massive amount of traffic all at once. the VOD library has significantly less server space, so let's say it can handle 200,000 people accessing it at once. fine. but once you get to let's say 225,000, that's more than the servers are designed to take, so while you can still watch videos, the loading becomes slower. then let's go 250,000 , even slower. 300.000? even more slow. 500,000? ah crap! slower still! and eventually you reach a point where the playing is going faster than it's able to load onto your device, hence the picture issues and freezes ... they've already said their "statistics" show more people watch the Live Stream and the newer content than the older, archived stuff. so they get more server space. they should invest in enough server space so that everything runs as smoothly as the Live Stream. but that would cost money,so...yeah. but until that day comes, you will always have people who will have issues at some point or another.

I'm on 32mbps wireless (PS4 is wired, so probably faster) and it works fine on everything for me. Maybe connection speed has little to do with it? I'm not really sure why 50mbps would work worse than my 32mbps connection.

I'm not really sure why 50mbps would work worse than my 32mbps connection. I'm not entirely convinced it's always speed either. the other day, when I was watching Bash at the Beach 96, at one point it wasn't stopping, but had that pixelated, blurry picture. looked at the progress bar, and what was being downloaded was far ahead of the bar for where it was playing, so there should've been no picture issue, but there was. so I don't know if it was an issue at the source, something fudging with the signal, or what. I would like to point out, it doesn't happen often, but it's just frustrating when I'm watching something and it starts to happen, then I see that I'm getting the full 5 bars of signal (sometimes I sit right here next to my router), and do a speed check and I'm pulling in 48 MBPS at that exact minute, yet there's issues. today for instance - watched SummerSlam 2006, perfect. watched about an hour of live stream stuff, perfect. then went to watch the Bret Hart vs Shaen Michaels sit down, worked good for a little over an hour, then started acting up. immediately hit "Done" and went to the Live Stream - perfect. go back to the Hitman-HBK thing, works for 5 minutes, starts acting up. I know the answer - like I said before, it's server space. just frustrating.

The WWE was ill-prepared for the WWE Network. While server space does cause the network to crash at times, the WWE should have used more server space for their international launch.

I still have no idea why Road Dogg & Billy Gunn swapped places leading into WM 15. It makes as much sense now as it did then. None at all.
