Watching a Raw from 2000 and guess what? Billy Gunn is announced as "Mr. Ass." His shirt, titantron, name graphic and announcement had nothing to do with the name Billy Gunn. Peculiar. Anyway, decided to change that because I didn't want to see the NAO wrestle and moved into the 1997 show. I watched one of those 1997 Raw episodes when the NAO had just started up as a tag team. Road Dogg's entrance was "Oh you didn't know? Then you better recognize!" and Billy Gunn did all the talking while walking down the ramp to the ring instead of Road Dogg. It was weird. Eww.

Wait, Billy Gunn used to do the talking before Road Dogg? I knew I shouldn't have stopped watching '97 RAW when I did. That's so weird cause I could never imagine Billy Gunn doing the talking in the entrance.

as far as 1997 goes,I really wish they'd upload the Thursday Raw Thursday episode already.
and for anyone who hasn't watched it yet, watch the "Ladies and Gentleman,My Name Is Paul Heyman" doc. my God,it was great, and gave an insight into the inner workings of the wrestling business. even I learned some new stuff!

The Heyman documentary is one of my favorites and is up there, quality-wise, with Punk's from 2012.

Not quite "British Bulldog winning the Royal Rumble because he's bizarre" but bizarre nonetheless.

After watching the 8.24.98 RAW, the Oddities theme was dubbed over and the Highway to Hell music video bit was removed. Other than that, most of the stuff was kept intact.
Glad to see the inclusion of the Empty Arena match from Halftime Heat.

This is a phenomenal idea. You notice interesting things. Such as, Bryan was undefeated in PPV matches for a year. Not counting the Rumble. He finally lost to Barrett at Summerslam 2011, after winning the MITB. And then wouldn't wrestle another PPV match until beating Show for the belt at TLC. And a certain spot where Bryan is crotched on the top rope and is clotheslined off is done several times. In matches against Barrett, Miz, and Punk.

I'm gonna have to get around to watching these all as well, I might even jump on YouTube and watch a few of his bigger ROH Matches. Speaking of Bryan's PPV matches, his last one against Kane at Extreme Rules was a lot better than I remember watching the first time. I watched it again a few weeks ago and it had an Attitude Era hardcore match type of feel, which I thought was pretty cool.
