There's literally three people dressed as sting in the crowd during this 97 raw. Gotta love the 90s.

This 1998 Raw has a Val Venis vignette featuring Jenna Jameson.

Decided to watch Royal Rumble 01. APA is bickering about "I'll show you mine, if you show me yours" while wearing the "Always Pounding Ass" shirts..........
Someone had to be ribbing those two.....
Edit: Just a thought as Benoit/Jericho started. I'm assuming we'll never get the full library of Raws. I can possibly see them putting the "Benoit Tribute" Raw on the network.
Please don't get this thread locked.

Haha. Not only is that my second favorite Royal Rumble match, but it's also my first or second favorite Rumble Pay-Per-View in general.

The rumble doesn't compare to 1992 though in my opinion.

Raw from 1997 rocks my face off. They went with a great episode tonight. Rocky joining the nation. The formation of DX. Two moments that would change the course of professional wrestling. That's why I love 97 much like yourself.

Missed this weeks episode since I was out celebrating my birthday. However, I watched it later and thought it was a good episode. I wish Stone Cold vs. Bret Hart rivalry made the list. Happy late birthday dude!

Source here"The network launched set at $9.99 per month with a six-month commitment. The company will introduce new payment plans in August, including a $19.99 monthly plan (with no commitment) and an upfront one-time payment option for its existing $9.99 per month offering (with six month commitment)." I'm out. $20/month for something I really never use is $20 I'd rather not spend.

WWE announced today that they have 700,000 WWE Network subscribers.
They previously announced 667,000 subscribers on April 7th. They added 161,000 subscribers since then but also lost 128,000, a difference of 33,000.

Im currently on the fence about renewing my subscription tbh. I mean the PPV addition is nice but they're putting stuff out at such a slow pace that I find myself watching the network maybe once a week if that. You have like 1,100 episodes of Raw yet we get 1-2 new episodes updated a week? The stuff on there is decent but eventually you look at it, and realize you've seen the majority of it by now and are getting maybe a 2-4% increase of new stuff a month. They need to start speeding up the process of updating things or I got a funny feeling a lot more people are going to dump their subscriptions come the end of the first 6 month period.

They need to start speeding up the process of updating things or I got a funny feeling a lot more people are going to dump their subscriptions come the end of the first 6 month period. Listen, I understand that there seems to be a real lack of content, at least once you watch everything you've wanted to see. However, if they don't space out the stuff they put on, they risk just blowing their whole load in one shot. If you put up all the Attitude Era stuff, where is the incentive for someone to keep their subscription if that's all they subscribed for? They space stuff out and put up some oddball stuff, and it gives people a reason to stay in. Plus, and honestly this is just me, if you're running out of things to watch that quickly, maybe take some time to watch some stuff that may not have been what you subscribed for. I mean, if all you wanted to do was watch the Monday Night War era of wrestling, and since they don't have anything but a few RAWS, a few Smackdowns, and a all the PPVs from that time period, go watch some Saturday Night's Main Event or some World Class TV. I'm not trying to pick on anyone, but I just don't get this "oh they don't have what I want and they should just put it all out for me" mentality. I want them to upload so much more, I really do. I posted in here about the potential stuff they could add, multiple times even. Stuff from the obvious choices like Nitro, Sunday Night Heat, ECW on TNN, Velocity, etc, etc, to the oddball stuff like Metal, WCW Pro, the ECW arena shows you had to buy on tape, and the like. Not to mention the rest of their library, consisting of Smokey Mountain, FCW, OVW, UWF, AWA, and so much more that if they still have access to those shows and a good portion of them, they could put up so much. But that'll come in time and I'm happy just having something like this. I've watched my share of the Network, from WCW PPVs to documentaries to SNM and so, so much more. And I'm still finding stuff to watch and always chomping at the bit for more. If you leave now, then we'll never get a chance for the "good stuff" you want and then everybody loses.

Spacing things out is the best way to do it. Plus, from what I've read, it takes a VERY long time to digitize everything and make it HD and stream it. So a lot of work goes into it. Plus, I'm still watching a TON of Pay-Per-Views and reviewing them. The Network is an EASY re-subscribe for me.

Also, how did they "lose 128,000 subscribers"? Is it not a six month commitment?

I get that spacing it out is smart for them long term, but what I was trying to say was, if the numbers that come back at the end of the first 6 month mark don't reflect well on them then I'd say they need to do something to get people to subscribe. And telling people that the network is available for 9.99 a month every week on Raw and SD is not what I mean. I get that putting everything out there now would be dumb but I think they need to speed up the process, otherwise there may not be enough subscribers in the future for there to be a network. I guess its difficult for me because I already own pretty much all Raws/Sds from 98/99 until now as well as all PPV's. So for me its the monthly PPV's that are making it worth it but not much else.

Also, how did they "lose 128,000 subscribers"? Is it not a six month commitment? PayPal loopholes allowing people to get out of the subscription. Source here"The network launched set at $9.99 per month with a six-month commitment. So I can spend $20/month or $60 in one shot for a service I really don't ever use? I'd rather just save the money and use my DVD collection I've spent years and an ungodly amount of money compiling.
