I missed the Austin-Hart special. It was just the match? No interviews? It was the match from the entrances till when Austin left the ring after attacking the referees. No interviews. It's really a skipable special if you've seen the match multiple times. But if you want to see the match anyways, I'd recommend it

Funny thing I saw when I'm watching RAW from 1995. I never knew Steve McMichael commentated on a match. Funny how he became a commentator on Nitro later that year. We're very close to September 1995 since we're at April of 95 with the episode after Mania 11

I never knew, but I was at the 100th episode of Raw. Never knew it was the 100th episode of course. I knew I was at Raw in 95. Actually at the 99th, 100th and 101st episode. They would tape 3 episodes back then. You can actually see my 12yr old self numerous times as I had aisle seats.
Cool watching them. I have never seen them since they aired, and never saw the live episode on Tv. Weird watching these old Raws and what small arenas/gyms they were in. On some you see the back wall right behind the crowd and the wall mounted ball goals in the background.

Not sure if anyone would care to watch/listen to this 2-3 minute video, but I was on TV Trax to find some clips of the Solomonster show, and I found this video with Don Tony talking about the Network. Now his complaint is the same one I have, and his complaint is that there aren't enough of the house shows on the Network. Personally I wish they would upload more of the old school house shows cause I want to see more content from the 80s because I'm already familiar with the 90s based on the countless video tapes my older brother showed me (he has the entire years of 1993 and 1996 on tape) and I started watching in 2000, and I haven't watched much from the 80s beside the Wrestlemanias that my brothers collected and other PPVs I rented on Blockbuster many years ago. BTW, he happens to have been a wrestling fan since the 70s. At the end, he was questioning why WWE doesn't do surveys to the ones who subscribe or those who didn't and ask them what do they want in the Network, which I think is a great idea to do, cause they need to get those numbers up. Doing these free previews, free trials are OK, but I don't think they're gonna do anything to increase that number. I remember Solomonster saying that when the 6 months are up, there might be a small decrease in subscribers, which I hope doesn't happen. Well anyways, I ranted on too much. I posted it on here cause it has to do with the conversation with the Network and it's not worth posting a separate thread about it. For the people who regularly post on here, I'd recommend listening to it to see what you think, if you agree with him or disagree or think he sucks lol.

I finally got the chance to watch NXT Takeover & absolutely loved it. Great, great show from top to bottom. Watching Rusev beat the crap out of Mojo was a major highlight for me. I can't stand him. Breeze/Zayn was the MOTN. Another show where I feel bad for Neville because he has to try & follow another huge Zayn match. I was SO happy Breeze won. I absolutely love this kid!

The Natural Eddy Valintino, one thing people fail to realize with the network is the WWE has to go through a process to make sure things get uploaded. I am willing to state the WWE doesn't have a lot of people employed to edit the footage as well as digitizing the tapes they have. They have to go through legal channels for licensing reasons, and then taking the time to upload all of this stuff. If people decide not to renew their subscriptions, it will be detrimental to not just them but to all of us. The more people who subscribe, the more the WWE can break even. The WWE will likely give us an updated subscriber number at the end of the month. I hope the WWE gets enough to break even and gain more people to make a profit. Since I am studying the hotel industry in college, I am going to give a clear example. Hotels would much rather have a low vacancy rate. Low vacancy rate = more money for the hotel property. The WWE would rather have more subscribers than less. More people who subscribe = the more they can profit from the network. This is why when you start a new business venture, you have to lose money and then regain your losses later on.

Not to mention the fact that, if they just put up all possible content, what would be the incentive to stick around and continue to pay after your six months is up? Yes, I do realize that if they put up everything possible, that is hours upon hours upon hours of content. But for every person like me who wants to watch everything they put up and is excited about not only the "good stuff" like the Attitude Era or the Monday Night Wars or ECW or whatever, but wants to see the forgotten stuff like Metal, World Wide, and the like or the notable, but underrated stuff like Clash of the Champions and what not. For every person like that, there is many who only want to watch a certain time period and after they cram all of say 98-2001, they might not have incentive to stick around. So the slow, gradual addition of things is helping the life span of it.
Plus, how much stuff will they actually put up? I mean, I can't imagine we'd have access to their whole library, that would be insane if we had access to WCCW, WCW, AWA, documentaries, house show cards, PPVs, etc, etc, etc, for ten bucks a month. So I'm sure there is a lot going into it. As well as what was said above, about the man power issue and having to go through a lot to get these shows edited, cleaned up, formatted, etc to be able to be put onto the Network.
Trust me, I want a lot more content, I want to relive Velocity and the awesome undercard that always got showcased on there, I want ECW on TNN, I want more old school wrestling, but i understand that there's a lot going into this whole thing and they're working really had to draw people in, without pulling out the trump card right away. The best thing you can do is just appreciate we have something like this and know that if this thing really takes off, it can become something special. Think about it, this is pro wrestling 24/7, 365, all at the tip of your fingers. And yes I realize youtube and all that exist, but this is easy access to so much amazing content, hell the live stream is basically a non stop wrestling channel, something I wish I had on my tv years earlier, so I could never stop watching pro wrestling.
From Clash of the Champions to PPVs to old school house shows to documentaries and so, so, so much more, this is, at least in my eyes, one of the best things ever gifted to wrestling fans.

This week's Best of RAW will be from July 1st, 2002 (The Undertaker vs. Jeff Hardy in a Ladder Match) and the Best of SmackDown is from October 14th, 1999. Beyond The Ring will occupy Countdown and WrestleMania Rewind this week.

I'm not sure what would the 10/14/99 episode worthy of the Best of Smackdown other than the Rock n Sock Connection winning the tag team titles. I'm sad there's no Countdown this week.

Countdown hasn't been interesting me the past few weeks so I'm not dissapointed there.
I'm dissapointed they pushed the Dusty Rhodes Beyond the Ring though. I was excited for that because i haven't seen it before. They were on a roll with the older Beyond the Rings.

Thank god this free preview is done today. The live feed has been terrible since it started. I've had no problems with Freezing and things like that until the free preview. Its really pissing me off.
