For real though, I do have every intention of coming back. I'd like it to be sooner rather than later, because my mind is always running even if the logistics of getting the output aren't in line. In creating Daniel Kirkbride, I wanted to try my hands at a marginally different character than what I might typically write. That was a challenge to myself, because as instinctive as it may be as a writer to sort of build a comfort zone around oneself, I feel that without personal challenges to overcome, you run the risk of falling stale, and then writing becomes boring. I've put this place on hiatus a number of times, but it's maybe only once been out of lack of interest. If I could play hype man for a moment, and show how my mind sort of works, maybe a day or two after I decided to remove myself from the roster, a new character came to me, and that invigoration was already there. If I begin finding time to put the words to the screen, I'll put him out there. I've already decided to lay down the next challenge for myself, which in turn will affect everything I've done before. Chris Avalon, Jason Vieira, David Brennan, and Daniel Kirkbride are out to pasture. If I've ever had a crutch here, it's been shoehorning all my characters into each other's stories. My next character, short of the understanding of who they are from their time on WFWF programming, will have nothing to do with any of my previous characters. He won't meet them. They won't cross paths. They won't interact. He's also not going to be from anywhere I've ever lived. I've also answered the challenge of using an actual wrestler as his pic base for once. Any way I can lock that down on reserve, Drakz?

I don't know what that means. It's a masked wrestler in New Japan, he's basically a comedy figure and I couldn't imagine anyone picking him as a pic base. Dex posted his picture.

Currently beginning to write my RP, and I've got a pretty solid theme behind it. How is everyone else doing?

Planning has gone much better than expected. I know exactly what I have to write. Just got to find time to write it now. Started on it about half an hour ago and the river's flowing.

Continuing to make progress. I don't really know how long it's going to end up being, but it should at least be fun.

I was blasted in the ears with an idea for my RP when listening to my iPod on the way home from work this morning. Now I just have to flesh it out a bit.

If anyone gets why I chose my subtitle/basis and my intro for my RP, I'll be very happy. So far, so good with it. I like the direction the arc is heading. I also have a song I know will be the guideline for an upcoming RP with some references thrown it. It actually quite fits, so I'm thrilled.

Have been debating a few ideas, as well as reading critiques on a bunch of peoples work. I have a decent understanding of what I want to do in this rp, and i'm going to try for it to be the first piece in sort of a mini series. Going to leave what I hope to be a decent hook at the end to keep people coming back for the next rp. Also introducing some side characters in this one as well! Excited to write, so i'll be jotting down thoughts to text soon.

Update: I'm very close to being done with the battle royal, to which then I'll get a foundation for the Raid/Benjamin match set. RP is coming along well. I have my ideas and am just trying not to overthink it. Goal tomorrow is to finish battle royal or set the foundation for Raid/Benjamin then get at least two parts of my RP done.
