You should be honored to be considered even close to my caliber on any level. I never had any involvement with Destroyer I don't think. Was Saku a d*ck? I can't really remember? Me > You. And I loved Saku. He came back when I first started out as owner. He was really chill and willing to write anything we needed. Heard bad stuff about him regarding his earlier run though. But look at Schneider, he makes no bones that he was a douche back then but is now the most productive member here. People change. P*ssy dulls the sharpest edges.

lol . are you a veteran here ? i'm new to WFWF Sort of. That term sounds weird, but yeah, I've been part of WFWF/AFRWF (precursor to WF) off and on for something like 15 years over six different characters. I've also never held a title but somehow one of my characters is in the hall of fame by way of a stable he was in. Some guy once told me I rub newcomers the wrong way, so here's a blanket apology in advance for anything I may say or do to you in offense under the influence of Naragansett or seratonin repressors at least through the end of the summer. I'll check back in and see if we need to refresh that come October or so. Heyyyyyy

I started in AFRWF alongside the likes of Frost and Ice Dogg during my sophomore year of high school, which was the latter half of 2000. I remember because I swiped my first character's name (Chalice) from some god awful cover band that played some DARE event at my school the same day that I came down with pneumonia. AFR shut down very shortly after, and I missed the first couple years of this place. I signed up again right after the Sox blew the ALCS in '03 and the whole Grady Little mess as Lance "Smash" Rodriguez, which should go down as the worst character sketch of all time. Came back in around '05/'06 with Chris Avalon. A little later into '06/'07 with Jason Vieira. Then came another hiatus which ultimately led to David Brennan, which ultimately brought us to Daniel Kirkbride. Six f*ckin' characters over a spotty fifteen years and a whole lotta nothin' to show for it.
Yous guys're lucky I likes you so much.

Also, this little stroll down memory lane has shed light on the fact that I've been making up wrestlers since before 9/11 happened. The only others things I've been doing that long and to this day are playing guitar, waxing my mandolin, and drinking.
Thanks for making that pending birthday this year all the more dreadful. I'm gonna go Smirnoff Sour myself to sleep.

My first was in the beginning of 2003 when Rupert Jee was running things. I forget how I met Alex but he pointed me to this place. I actually remember all of your characters except Chalice. I remember Frost, Ice Dogg and all of them. Alex has a forum with some of their rps posted to them. He actually has a good collection of rps done by people way back then. I think EBR is the only one who still uses it, at least he was last time I checked it out.

Now that would be cool to have access to that. I like reading old stuff, if for no other reason than to see the game's evolution.

I remember Alex linking me to that archive years ago. I'll drop him a line and see if he's still got it.

Hmmm it doesn't seem to have any of the old RPs on it? Or are they on the test board?

Six f*ckin' characters over a spotty fifteen years and a whole lotta nothin' to show for it. Yous guys're lucky I likes you so much. You could probably provide pretty accurate records for the fed's history DB and help us get the title histories cleaned up. I really couldn't. For being such a louse, I actually have a great memory but my attentive skills are about as finely tuned as my coping skills. I could tell you bits and pieces about my stints here for the most part, but when it comes down to the bigger picture, I'm lucky if I can drop the names of who was running the joint at the time. Frost probably got me into the fed over at AFR, 'cause I was pretty good buds with him outside the fed. I don't remember who started it (probably not me), but Ice Dogg and I both had this weird visual rp style where we'd use pictures of our pic base (Corey Taylor for me, Tupac Shakur for him) to move the action along in our rps. The Rodriguez character was so trite and poorly conceived. I actually have an rp I wrote during my last bit of downtime where I tried to rectify that character. It works, but it doesn't take away from the fact that I conceived that character while crying into an illegally purchased pint of Guinness at the 99 by my college at the time that didn't card patrons with facial hair. Off the top of my head, I wound up using at least four different pic bases for Chris Avalon (Gerard Way, Mike McColgan, Johnny Rioux, and Johnny Knoxville for those of you keeping score), which is pretty impressive for a character with no background, gimmick, or direction. Jason Vieira is the earliest character for which rps still "exist" and they're f*cking awful. I had this whole idea of Vieira being some falsely accused murderer but I also had no idea how the justice system works. Realistically, JV shouldn't have existed because he'd have not been allowed to seek employment during his hearings. All in all, I'm just a long running hack.

Really outside of DB, the best people to ask about 2005/6-current are probably going to be me and Yukio. We're walking encyclopedias about this place. Both cool and a shame at the same time.
