kind of moronic to miss paying your rent because you donate money to Hall/Roberts. A spade's a spade and a mark's a mark.

I don't think him using rent money to support his hero's surgery makes him a mark. However, I hope they see some repercussions for this crap they pulled.

I see Scott Hall posting on twitter all the time about making his calls to his sponsors. I think they are working on those perks slowly but surely.

I got my perk a long time ago. It was delayed while Scott recovered and during that time I got constant updates as to when it would arrive. Nothing but a positive experience for me.

I'm glad I didn't give these guys money, I'm not really a fan of the two either. Sucks to hear that most people didn't get anything in return of helping these two out.

If you're donating money you're doing it to help, not because you expect something in return. Getting something is an extra added bonus and you should just be happy whenever you get it. It's one guy, he'll get around to it eventually.

I hope this isn't true, but if it is, I'm not surprised.

I got my shirt and autograph about a month ago. Possible that stuff got lost in the shuffle and maybe things weren't as organized as they should be but I don't think they set out to screw people over.

I paid Jake Roberts $20 for an autographed 8X10 at a comic expo. If I wanted it personalized he told me to pay another $20, and if I wanted a picture with him, another $20 on top of that. When I said no, he proceeded to get mad at me and tell me he'd stick his finger up my ass and my girlfriend. Total heel but wtf buddy...

If you're donating money you're doing it to help, not because you expect something in return. Getting something is an extra added bonus and you should just be happy whenever you get it. It's one guy, he'll get around to it eventually. The entire purpose of setting up an Indiegogo is to raise money and offer perks for those who make contributions. They - the contributors - were promised "perks" for their contribution which many aren't getting. You are acting like the people who contributed funds are the bad guys for expecting what they are promised. However, they aren't. They are entitled to everything they were promised with their contribution. You want to know why people are expecting something in return? It's because they were promised something in return. The fact of the matter is that Scott Hall & Jake Roberts had someone set-up an account, ask for funds, with the promise of perks and haved failed to deliver their perks. It's their responsibility. It's an entirely different argument about whether people should have donated, but they have a right to be pissed when they contributed funds with the promise of perks.. yet haven't gotten them. Period. EDIT: However, you take a look at Scott's timeline.. he's re-tweeted people within the past few days about them getting their phone call from the project. So, yeah.

I want to help them out, but I'd never just mail them cash & truly expect to get something in return.... if you donated cash to The Red Cross would you get mad when they didn't send you a "Thank You" card? I know this is a little different but if you were truly being generous than let it go.... I went to an independent wrestling show that Jake was appearing at & bought two autographs and a picture. Jake tried to sell my buddy a t-shirt he didn't want..... he's a pretty aggressive seller with this stuff.

I met Roberts two years ago at the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo, and to be honest, he was a total bunghole then, was miserable to all of the fans, to the point whrre a lot of people waiting in line to see him, to either buy an autographed photo of him, or get a picture taken with him, were leaving his line seeing how rude he was, and going to Jim Duggan instead, who was beside him and ing awesome. Roberts was also apparently prety rude with the expo volunteers. Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Ted Dibiase, Virgil, Kiarny, and Honky Tonk Man were all there, and with the exception of Tonk, all were fantastic to meet. Honky wasn't bad, he was just kind of irritable. He was also a bit of an ass to the volunteers, but he was really good with the fans. Just seemed grumpy more than anything. But Jake was miserable. After knowing what Jake has always been like, and meeting him,I'd never give him a cent

After knowing what Jake has always been like, and meeting him,I'd never give him a cent I was never really a fan of Duggan but I met him at Comic Con recently and he was indeed awesome. I paid $20 for 1 picture. He insisted I take 4 (he seemed to do that with everyone) he put his US title on my shoulder for 2 of the pics then told me to strangle him for the other 2. I also met Hogan, Lawler, Brutus Beefcake, Greg Valentine, Tito Santana, and Andrew Anderson that day. Hogan was nice but quick. Lawler told me to hold his crown for the pic. Tito was very humble and soft-spoken. Brutus had me hold one end of his scissors for the pic. Valentine wasn't rude but he seemed exhausted and it was a chore for him to get up for the pic. He was polite though. Andrew Anderson was really excited and nice. Kinda made me feel bad that I didn't know who he was but I wasn't gonna disrespect him by taking pics with the other guys and ignoring him.

Donating money and expecting something in return is stupid. I get that they were promised, but you shouldn't donate money for perks. You should donate it because you care about the person. That would be like donating to charity and then expecting the family that gets what ever you donated, to give you something in return.
