Finally figured out a way to connect my Galaxy phone to my Galaxy camera and I can now use my phone as a remote w/ preview screen for the camera.

Very excited to see the chat thread back and I hope that this means more activity on the board. Finally figured out a way to connect my Galaxy phone to my Galaxy camera and I can now use my phone as a remote w/ preview screen for the camera. Sounds sweet. One problem could arise from that generally and it's not looking back on pictures so I hope you'll do that otherwise some will be stiff, fidgety etc.

Stuff comes out pretty fidgety and choppy. I'll have to get used to it.

That's good to hear. So far for the PPV I haven't made any animations but I started my break from school today so I'll be working on it over the next few weeks.

Good that people are going on with their Stips, hopefully the show can have as a good a turnout as Mystery Vortex especially given the low amount of hand ins.
Is anybody else gonna attempt a poster for the show? My ones pretty bad so if someone makes a better one it'll likely be chosen by tha mod.

How can we possibly make a poster for such a title?

SixSides, gonna start building tomorrow. Awesome. How big is the ring gonna be? One problem I found with my one I made in 2011 was that the figures didn't really fit well in comparison to my ESR/ASR so it's gonna have to be quite big.

I have an idea, idk if it's gonna work but I'm gonna give it a try.

About the size of the Blue Jakks ring, hopefully that's enough, but from the looks of it I think I have a good size.

If you had've started out with a piece of wood that was the same size as a Real Scale ring then cut off the edges to make it 6 sided, it would've been much better. Oh well, I'm interested to see how it turns out.

Sounds cool nonetheless. How are you going to go about putting it together? Attach the posts to the outside or something like that?

How are you going to go about putting it together? Attach the posts to the outside or something like that? Kind of hard to explain, I still need to drill nails into all of the wood pieces to make a base, then I'll cut the foam to match it, after that I'll cut the wooden dowels to the right size (used as ring posts), to get the dowels to stay on the base I'll use this special type of metal that you can bend and has holes in it and mold the metal to the shape of the dowel, then I will drill into the holes on the metal so it stays in. I've made a ring before so I have a bit of experience, I want to make this one more comfortable for animating then my last by making it a little bit smaller, higher off the ground, and maybe I'll make some turnbuckles for it too.
