I miss Racing Champions. The early series had the rubber tires that you could pull off and on so I would have "pit stops" when id play with them. Id line up the collectors cards along the wall that that would be their pit stall. Ahh good times, Im still kicking myself knowing I created safer barriers in the late 90s. I had pit stops too with my Racing Champions Kyle Petty Mello Yello car

Michael Waltrip by Country Time Lemonade, Davy Allison in the Havoline, Neil Bonnett in the Citgo. I also had a mail away set from the mid 80s of Hendricks Motorsports. #5 Geoff Bodine, #17 Darrell Waltrip and #25 Tim Richmond. I dont think they were made by Racing Champions but they were 1/64th scale and used water slide decals. Kicking myself for not keeping them in mint shape. Ive never even seen them since.

I know there were two sets released when the movie came out. Hardees had their Happy Meal set which had the City Chevrolet car, Superflo car, Hardees car and the Mello Yellow car but didnt have the Exxon car. The Exxon series had all of the cars plus the Exxon Car. When I would play with my cars I would be the driver of the 51 and a teammate to Earnhardt since the cars were the same style and color lol

I have the Exxon Hauler because that was my favorite car. Winners Circle had Talladega Nights cars when the movie came out.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to make this thread. The shelf on the left is NASCAR 1:24 Action/Team Caliber/Racing Champions diecast and the right is my wrestling figures. The bins below the 1:24s are my MOC 1:64s. I have about a 500 1:64s ranging from 1983 to 2013. I use the loose diecasts for stop motions, in fact I plan on making a big 2011-2012 stop motion this January once I buy the 2,4,11,20,31,34,35,78 and 99. Ill post some test vids later. Anybody got the Tommy Baldwin 7 and 36 preordered?

Cant really see the pic too well. I was hoping I could place a big order on the RCCA site to get a bunch of Stewart paint schemes and then make a Stewart 1/64th scale display (I have a ton of his Home Depot #20 stuff and #44 Shell Cars) but they sell out on that site and then never get crap back in so I gave up.

I'm on my iPod, ill take better quality pics later. Yeah I'm lucky my Pawn shop sells them for $5-$10 so I pick them up if they're in presentable shape. I've been going on eBay and picking up Scott Wimmer 1:24s I couldn't get before in my childhood (because my mom refuses to sell me her Wimmer stuff.) There's a 1:24 rule I go by though (depending on the diecast): if a diecast is 10 years old or older you should never pay more than $10 for it. 5 years old and never pay more than $30.

I still really need those Red Bull diecasts. The 1:64s are SOOOOOO hard to find these days.

The only one I didn't have a problem finding was the 2011 Vickers. I had the 4 and the 2007 Allmendinger COY before but I gave them to a fellow stop motion maker because I wasn't sure I wanted to do them anymore. There's the first preview for my new SM Here is preview 2 I still need to get a tripod and a better camera before I start filming it, and find those final cars. i suppose I should just fork up the $15 for the Red Bull #4, like I had to for the Casey Mears Geico 1:64

and yes I did attempt a WWE stop motion too, but like most of my stop motions, it turned out choppy and had a weird angle without a tripod.

That Allmendinger COT you gave away, sells on eBay for about $50.

Never saw it at their merchandise haulers either when I was at the Charlotte races in 2007.

Thank god this was bumped. Anyway... does anyone else think that the Spin Master cars have way too many shelfwarmers?

Thank god this was bumped. Anyway... does anyone else think that the Spin Master cars have way too many shelfwarmers? Yes. The NASCAR unites cars were over produced. They're still putting out cases at my Walmart. Good thing the Gen6 cars are coming mid October. The only ones from Spinmaster ill be buying are the 47 and 21. I think Spinmaster needs to pick up the pace with their diecast. There's no excuse for new tooling and the first 2013 Spinmasters to be coming out in October. New season Winners Circle and Hot wheels paint schemes came out in April or May at the latest. We're in the Chase now. These should've came out months ago.

Back in June UPS had a free diecast giveaway and they just came. They were just 2013 UPS Edwards cars but I'll still be able to use it for the upcoming stop motion.
