Haha, what?! Tell me it wouldn't sell like crazy... All these dorks who don't know who Magnum TA would buy him anyway if he came with a Porsche so they could pose Alberto with it. Haha. Right?! this comment was wrong, but funny, just my sense of humor, lol. i personally would say have him come with the NWA US or world title, even though he never held the world title. i think i have seen the proto pic once, never seen the one of austin though to be quite honest.

Call me crazy (no not maybe) but ive never seen one match of the guy... AND I even want this figure! It looked that good. Ive heard of his feud with Nikita Koloff, didnt they have a chain/dog collar match? That'd be an awesome accessory.

Magnum is best known for his best of 7 series against Nikita and his I Quit Cage Match against Tully Blanchard (which is on the essential Starrcade DVD). Most of his matches with Flair were great but short as they were usually "hype" matches on TV that only lasted for 5-10 minutes.

All of these children that keep saying "Who's Magnum TA??" should really take more pride in the history of the "sport" they they pretend like they love so much. Magnum got better crowd reactions then 90% of the stooges in the WWE right now. Ya know, I never bought the argument that people should conduct research projects so they can go out and spend an extra 20 dollars on a figure of a guy they have or had no affinity for. I appreciate that there is a history behind wrestling, but that doesn't mean I have to spend my money on it. I spend enough of it on guys I used to watch. I love wrestling because of the experiences I had as a kid, not because some guy got great pops in dingy arenas around the south. < How is that justification for ME to add him to my personal collection?

I don't care what accessory he came with I'd buy him anyways. Yep. If he came with a Diva's title, I'd still buy him.

I don't see where he said you needed to buy the figure anywhere. All he said is that some of the so called wrestling fans should watch some of his matches. His cage match vs Tully is considered one of the greatest cage matches of all times. And I would think wrestling fans would want to see some great matches from the past.

That's a wonderful uneducated quote right there. Anyone that thinks the Greensboro Coliseum, The Omni, The Scope, Kiel Auditorium or Baltimore Arena are "dingy arenas" are greatly misinformed and should, I as said in my original post educate themselves. Now, whether you want to buy the figure or not, I could care less what you do with your money, however anyone that claims to be a fan of something and yields to learn about that subjects history (whether you like it or not) doesnt have much of a leg to stand on when it comes to discussing historic fact about that subject.

I thought the cloth faux leather vest was cool.
I don't think they have the rights to any belts he held.
If they did him now.....I bet they would make his vest plastic instead of the dope cloth one they did

Well, you do care, because at the crux of this discussion is whether he should get a figure and what he would need with him to make him appealing to a wide range of people. So if you are just talking about history, then you are off topic. You want me and others like me to say we want this figure and to somehow show or demonstrate that we'd buy it, otherwise you may never get it. Mattel obviously thinks it won't be a top seller or we would've seen it by now. Why would they skip it and go ahead with a Big Bossman and Papa Shango in the flashback line? If people did do their research, they may actually like what they see. I can agree with that. When I turned on a Raw episode, I thought Randy Orton and Ryback were interesting wrestlers, and I may want to put up the money for their figs to add to my legends. But I never feel like I need or should educate myself about wrestling. I mean, it's wrestling. My enjoyment comes from my memories. It's entertainment, and I find enough entertainment in what I know and remember.

an elaborate ring jacket would be a much better accessory than any random weapon 100% agreed!
