Shouldn't this be on a different board?

Easy as 2-packs and with singles they were short packs (1 per case)in a COLLECTORS line. And they were known/entertaining Legendary managers to boot. When they put the modern managers in the regular RA line (Heyman & Bischoff) they rotted the pegs until Mattel took over the pegs and stores had to remove Jakks WWE product. And with Heyman and Bischoff they were the only manager in their waves and you want a full wave of managers. lol Would I buy Heenan, Capt Lou, Blassie, Hart, Fuji, Johnny Valient, Paul E Dangerously, Jim Cornette, Gary Hart, JJ Dillon, Paul Elering, Slick, Sunny, Baby Doll, Precious,Paul Jones, etc? Sure I would but to put out a whole wave of them would just become pegwarmwrs after the collectors got theirs. I just don't imagine a ton of kids in the store saying let me get Cole/Heyman/etc over an actual wrestler. My area must be so different from the rest of the country. Lower prices and different shelfwarmers (except Cena who is a shelfwarmer everywhere). Managers and the like never warmed the shelves here. Not even the Bobby Heenan/Abe Schwartz pack. Jakks figures that warmed the shelves were Undertaker, HHH, Rey Mysterio, John Cena and Randy Orton. Most CS figures I saw once or not at all. The only guy who had a CS figure that ever warmed the shelves here was SuperStar Billy Graham. And even then they eventually sold out of him. Maybe CS and stuff sold horribly everywhere else but here they sold great. I never said the CS managers pegwarmed, because they didn't other than Whippleman 2-Pack. I said the Heyman and Bischoff from the regular RA line did. You asked how Jakks were able to sell them and I said they were able to sell them because they were packed in 2-Packs with their wrestler or they were 1 per case figures in the regular CS line. None of the CS managers were more than 1 per case and after CS13 they became 1 per 2 case figures. So that is how Jakks was able to sell them. But they never made a complete wave of single carded managers in the modern RA line. Which is what the original poster wanted. So that would be at least 2 of everyone. I don't know about your area but my stores usually get at least 3 cases of a wave....so that would be at least 6 of each on the pegs. And I don't see the demand for that outside of the collectors. And plenty already have the BAF's so why would they buy them again in the regular Elite line?

It would be nice but I dont see it happening! Maybe if they got rid of battlepack basic 2 packs and replaced that with a new concept or something but thats doubtful.

I'm not agreeing with this suggestion of a whole managers line. I'm just saying there are a ton of managers that I want.

I'd love to see a Mattel Jimmy Hart w/ Megaphone. Easy accessory. That's what i was thinking. Id like Jim Cornett to go with my Vader! Mr.Fuji for Yoko! and of course Paul Bearer!

That would be a bad marketing move.

they dont need a whole series...but i would perfer a manager/ announcer in each series as their own figure..not a BAF tho. they could short the quantities of that figure to make room for all the Cenas and Ortons that sell so well. But I'd much perfer to not have to buy a whole set just to get a ring announcer.

I think they should treat the managers like they do the divas. Maybe in every basic series they alternate - either a diva or a manager - one per case. This formula seems to work for the divas, so why not give it a try with managers. Then when they do a Wrestlemania or Royal Rumble Heritage, they could even get an old school manager out there too.

I agree with this...Id like it ALOT more if we got more divas and some managers so we wouldn't keep getting 100 repaints of John Cena or Kane!!!!

they messed up long ago by not making the managers BAFs in the legend line. 6 waves - that meant we could have had Bobby, Jimmy, Fuji, Slick, Elisabeth and Blassie. Dumb ass mattel...

It would be nice if Mattel put current managers in the basic line (Zeb , Heyman etc) This would work for me.
