Scalpers. How much are they charging? Are they charging more than retail? They charge $20+ for basics, $25+ for elites. And most of these vendors have a Mattel license so they're getting the figures at cheaper prices. Not to mention they're selling TRU and Walmart exclusives as well. If that's not scalping, then I don't know what is.

I love Frank & Sons. Been going since it was mostly baseball cards. Moved to NC, vacation yearly (Supposed to be for ComicCon) to Oceanside CA, and make sure to drive up.
A few notes to defend Frank & Sons though. There is no 'They' in the how much do 'They' charge. My dad and I used to vendor there when it was baseball cards. You could vendor there if you paid the table fee.
Something's only over priced if it's priced more than you're willing to pay. I bought a Reveal the Shield Preceptor and Bumblebee last year. Guy wanted 20 a piece, and they never hit stores near me. I would have paid that, but sense it was Frank and Sons I talked him down to both for 30. Different stand and I got E15 Bourne and Yoko for 40 together. It's all a matter of asking and searching.
And yeah it's a scalper haven. But as other's have mentioned a lot of the sellers have retail licenses and can buy direct. That's the exact opposite of scalping no matter what anyone charges.
I love Frank & Sons.
Or did. This the first I'm hearing about them on TV.

Scalping is when these mom and pop shops or flea market booths don't have an account with Mattel, etc. and buy up all the figs at the retail stores we go to. Some will even buy from RSC, who's prices are already higher, and in turn they have to charge a fortune.
But some of you guys are right. All it takes sometimes is talking to them and asking. I know, I hate to be one of those guys that asks "is this the best you can do" but those stickers on those figs are always negotiable. I got E12 Kane for $35, marked $50 at a place like this.
