Glad I got one for myself back when they came out, but really wish I would have picked up a bunch of them for $30 when they hit Big Lots. Had I know, I would have filled my cart up and just let them sit in my closet, waiting for this time to roll around.

Got mine for 20 on Black Friday last year they had two left I'm kicking myself for not getting those as well. It's nice but it's too big, I've consider selling but I know if I do I'll regret it.

I'd just buy it for $436. Is that with the sale? Get 10% off now. That would drop it under $400. Use eBay now and you can get one around $200-$300. Believe my, the closer X-mas rolls around, the harder it will be to get one for a good price. BTW, $200-$300 is totally reasonable. Call it scalping all you want, but this is a high demand product. Glad to see they the haters agree (NOW) that Ringside is no different than scalpers. Lol. I bought 2 rings on eBay, 1 last year for $125. 1 a few months ago for $140. But I seen them sell at over $500. Also, Elimination Chambers are in high deman too. If you can pick a complete used one for $150, consider yourself lucky. I hate the Mattel version. Still on the look out for a Jakks Real Scale Elimination Chamber!! One Love!!

Bought mine for 30 bucks at Big Lots. It's too big for my purposes, the RSR is perfect for me. So I sold it on eBay last year for like 80 bucks.
Shoulda waited until this year.

You should have done a BIN price and have it set to 30 days, lol. I sold my first one for $220 last year near Xmas. Now I'm debating to keep my other (unopened) or to sell it. I got a RSR Raw style for $150 and it's growing on me. I like it because Jakks supported it with accessories. Still holding my breath that Mattel will do something nice for collectors and make skirts and playsets that are made for ESRs. Would love a ES Elimintion Chamber, MITB, Attitude Era Black Steel Cage, or aprons that came with Elite figures similar to the TRU BAF sets. A guy can dream!!

I don't get it? Isn't the RSR just as good or better than the ESR? And don't RSR's go pretty cheap these days?

The only thing the RSR had going for it was that it had diecast posts IMO and that was also it's great flaw. After a while the posts would start to sink in. The ESR was a major improvement over the RSR. The posts were more secure, the turnbuckle pads were much more accurate, and the ring skirt was a separate piece from the ring mat.
Don't get me wrong the RSR was a work of art but the ESR is just miles better. Not $425 better, but better. I did love how Jakks wasn't afraid to "go there" with all the accessories. I used to fell jaded paying the full retail price for mine but now seeing how much these are going for now I got on hell of a deal.
I hope Mattel is noticing this.

For that price you could almost buy a real ring haha! Jk that's not really a j/k matter. for the frame, you'd be looking at roughly $500. Then it's just a matter of buying the plywood locally and getting a mat for it. Then stuff like turnbuckle pads and covers, buckle covers, and an apron.. But the ring itself will run roughly what they're charging for the toy replica, for a 12x12

I just woke up and I vividly remember having a dream where I was looking all around Kmart and couldn't find any wrestling stuff. Then I saw 3 WWE rings laying on the floor and the boxes were all old and beat up. The one on the very bottom was the ESR!! I took it up front and got it for 20 bucks! I then woke up and now I'm still EsRless...
