So, over the weekend I cracked my PS3 out of mothballs and got re-acquainted with it. I probably haven't touched the thing in 6 months. Anyway, I played through Lego Batman 2 and saved Gotham City again. I have a day off Thursday and am seriously considering just vegetating in front of the stupid Playstation all day long. I know it's very productive, but that's my working plan.
What are some good games I should play? I haven't played in forever and have never been a hardcore gamer so most of the games out there I've never played. I'm looking for something I can get for $20-30 used and not M rated.
I've thought about Spiderman: Shattered Dimension and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. Both of them look good. I have already played both Batman games and all three Uncharted games. Anything else I should look at?

Why not m rated? I would recommend getting a classic final fantasy game on psn IME most M rated games have that rating for blood/gore and the blood/gore adds absolutely nothing at all to the game except for shock value. So I boycott them. You can make good games without going over the top.

Red Dead Redemption for example has blood/gore but the game doesn't use it as a crutch--and it's one of the best games out for consoles.

F the M rating stance and play the newest MK Hahahaha, of all the games, you pick the most violent of them all. But, yes, enjoy yourself and play the ridiculously violent and ridiculously fun newest Mortal Kombat. Endless enjoyment.

The Sly Cooper series is great and they just released Sly 4 for $40 new. 3D Dot Game Heroes is pretty fun and interesting(and cheap). The inFamous games are fun and can be bought in a collection for around $20-30. Heavy Rain is pretty good and the price going around for about $10. The Uncharted games are really good and you can get the first two games relatively cheap. And lastly the LittleBigPlanet games are a fun side scrolling plate-former that is cheap.

Even though it is M or I think it is. Black Ops 2 is a must play.

You really should base a game on it's genre not rating. Try watching some reviews on youtube of games and go from there.
