What's Cena looking at? I like how the top of Orton's back tattoo peeks out of the shirt.

I have most of them and I agree they are great for basics. Nice pickups!

I anticipate finding R-Truth, the pants design is pretty wild for a basic!

Im sure Im in the minority but man I hate these things. First they dont have a sleeves mold, they just paint part of the arm which is a very Jakks-ish move and would have been bashed like hell if Jakks did it (actually Jakks had a tshirt arm mold if I remember correctly. Secondly, when has a wrestler ever come out with their shirts tucked into their trunks? This is exactly what it looks like. They just look silly. I guess to each their own though.

In a perfect world, Nivro, Mattel would have made a whole new design for this set I picture something like the rubber elite shirts, but attached to the bodies without being able to be removed.
However they would be $16.97 instead of $10.97...so I'll take what I can get with them at least being different from the usual re-paints. And for the record, I never minded the Jakks shirted figures because, again, they were at least different from the regular re-paints

I'm hoping these are enough of a success for Mattel to tweak and improve the parts. Finished my set today when I found Orton, Miz and Truth. What's Cena looking at? I like how the top of Orton's back tattoo peeks out of the shirt. LOL I accidentally picked up a lazy eyed Brock. I needed the Teddy Long parts and grabbed one without checking the paint apps.

Here's a question for you...I've voiced my opinion on it in a couple B26 posts. Although I don't remember if I did in my thread about him. But if you aren't happy with the lack of sleeve molda on these how do you feel about the B26 Kane? There's alot of praise for it, but I was letdown, because they just painted a shirt on Kane's bare total mold complete with bellybutton. I think that is a greater letdown than a lack of molded sleeves.

I think that is a greater letdown than a lack of molded sleeves. Im not a fan of basics so until you mentioned it I never even noticed it. Looking at pics of it now though, it looks kinda cheesy. I can see why people want the design but Id rather see a repainted version on the Elite then what that is. I can however see why they did that though, I mean outside of Kane and probably that one figure...they're probably never make another basic Kane so creating the mold wouldnt be financially wise for as much as they'd use it. With these shirted figs, you'd assume that there's going to be more then one series and there's at lease, what 6 figures...Just think it would have helped spruce the figures up some IMO.

I see why they did it as well, but the same can be said for the arms, because in reality you'd need to do 4 sets of arms -
Triple H's large arms Cena's arms Orton/Ziggler ripped arms Punk/Miz's non ripped arms
I'm not sure whose arms Truth uses. But that's 3 or 4 sets of arms for an exclusive set. That they'll probably never really do again.

Haha that Cena paintjob is hilarious. I love this set. I don't want Mattel to make these figures all the time, but mixing in some t-shirted figs in the basic line wouldn't hurt my feelings at all. I have Punk and Ziggler. My Walmart just restocked but no Truth/Miz sadly.

These figs are what they are. Not my favorite but they display well. I still need Miz.

Suprised at some of the critics. Ill admit it, I despised it when JAKKS released shirted figures ALL the time in regular sets at random. For the most part I like wrestling figures in wrestling attire, period, but as a special release these are kind of neat. The Ziggler pops and looks awesome in particular. AS LONG as Mattel keeps it to a set of exclusives maybe released 2-4 times a year, I'm cool with it. Just dont stick these shirts in random Basic and BP sets LOL.
