if I were bill gates rich, I would:
- buy and own a pro basketball team and base them in san diego
- buy the chargers and padres and make a new all purpose stadium and connect it to the san diego convention center
- full support and produce local filmmakers throughout san diego and surrounding areas
- donate a portion of my wealth to animal shelters and alzheimer's research
- pay off both my family's house
- buy a big portion of land in san diego and make it my compound
- hire a personal driver to chauffeur me around (ala the artist where he is a close friend and confidant)
- travel the world

I would donate large sums of money to a bunch of causes. Animal shelters, education, scholarships and grants for average middle class American youth looking to go to college who are unable to qualify for any financial aid and would otherwise we completely burdened by student loans like I currently am.
I'd spend a lot of money trying to change the way this country is run and attempt to aid those who are advocating for positive change.
I would pay off all of my own debts, all of my close family's debt, and treat my parents to a worry-free (and probably pretty lavish) retirement.
I would give money to my closest friends.
I would build myself a house to taste with a primary focus on an extravagant sound proofed theater room with only the best in video and audio, all professionally installed and calibrated with absolutely no expense spared.
I would probably buy a couple of cars, but nothing particularly fancy as they don't interest me all that much. I would probably get a nice hybrid for normal commuting and something a bit more showy for fun during the summer months.
I would provide funding to up and coming filmmakers to pursue their dreams and create their art.
I would write and publish my own works - be it editorials, short stories, or novels.
That's really just scratching the surface.

That's a good question. When I was younger, I coulda answered that question easily, but now, I'm not so sure. I would predictably rest assured I could pay off all my college tuition, buy a home and a car or two. I think if money were no object, I'd like to attend every PPV each month. Aside from that an splurging on a few things here and there, I don't know how much my lifestyle would change. I might buy nicer clothes and get more shoes. I would share my money with my parents to show my appreciation for their support all these years. And maybe afford to work only 3-4 days a week. I think that'd be nice.
Oh yeah, and sit ringside at WrestleMania.

1. Donate to environment protection groups. 2. Get a house in New York. 3. Save a good chunk for family/friends that would be in need. 4. Create the best stop motion studio ever. 5. Get a nice environmentally friendly car. 6. Get solar panels on my house. 7. Buy a crapload of elite figures. 8. Tickets for every WWE PPV. 9. Tickets to any rock concert I'd want to attend. 10. Travel.

I would take my current home and expand it to 10 times bigger. So my house would be the size of a couple city blocks. And then I would buy all the land/homes around my house and knock it all down, converting it all into a big, private, park around my house.

Buy a nice house with a pool. Maybe an expensive car. Donate some money to women and children organizations.
