Great opening segment from Randy Orton to address both the result of last week's main event and the Nexus. Liked the involvement from Edge, Sheamus, Mark Henry, and Nexus. Builds both the Nexus storyline and the RAW Money In The Bank match at the same time, assuming that the four superstars are involved there. Obvious victory for Evan Bourne against William Regal to qualify for the Money In The Bank match. Can't see Bourne winning, but I'm sure he'll have an incredible spot in the match. Oh, Regal's on a hiatus now. Interesting that this was a segment, and I do wonder what it will lead to. Glad Ted DiBiase and Maryse got the win here. I never minded the pairing, though I felt it did slightly hold DiBiase back from achieving a bit more. Another predictable Money In The Bank qualifier with The Miz going over Goldust. That's the main problem I feel with having qualifying matches for something like Money In The Bank in this time period. The matches are bound to be predictable. Nonetheless, I am expecting Miz to capture the briefcase. Even though he's nothing too special nowadays, he was clearly ready to break out into the main event scene at this point in time. Good tag team match that ended in chaos via the Nexus. Wow, Desmond Wolfe is getting his title shot at Money In The Bank? You know what? Do it. Put the title on Wolfe. This is the kind of opportunity that the WWE failed to strike on with the Nexus in real life, and I'd be all for it. Not because I'm a Nigel/Desmond mark, but because it seems like the right thing to do. So a Truth/DiBiase feud for the United States Championship, eh? Nice. Yep, another predictable qualifier. Chris Jericho getting in the match is great though. He won't win, but he's another guy I'll be rooting for regardless. And lastly, pretty weak main event if I'm honest. Out of all of the Nexus members to go up against John Cena, it was Michael Tarver. I get that the member was bound to lose, but someone like Joe Hennig or Brodus Clay could have used this opportunity, I believe. Good brawl afterwards, and I do like how neither side got the upper hand. Overall, another good edition of RAW.

I'm really enjoying the direction of this. I don't see Desmond Wolfe taking the WWE Championship though, regardless. I think a disqualification finish could be on the cards. I'm definitely enjoying it though. Looking at the current Money in the Bank participants, Chris Jericho would be an idea choice for me, but I don't know if you'll give it to him. And Dolph Ziggler is an obvious choice on the opposite side, but I don't know if you'll be that unoriginal. I'll definitely be reading more.

BREAKING NEWS; JOHN CENA INJURED ON RAW, FORCED TO VACATE CHAMPIONSHIP?
In some shocking news, during the brawl that continued after the cameras went off the air on Monday Night Raw, Nexus gained the advantage, and wrapped Cena's arm around a chair. Nexus leader, Desmond Wolfe then ordered the near 400lbs Brodus Clay to deliver a splash on the chair.
Medics were called out, and it became obvious that Cena's arm was shattered or even broken. What is to come of the WWE Championship?

I'm new to your diary but I'll give it a shot. You've got Desmond Wolfe heading the Nexus? That's awesome. Not quite sure on Edge and Sheamus teaming but I wasn't watching the WWE at this point in time. Evan Bourne in a Money in the Bank ladder match is awesome, obvious choice. I'm happy you're giving Tyson Kidd/David Smith some screen time but they really need to cut an edgy promo or be apart of an interesting feud in order to be stars. I hope you push Miz right; the WWE just seems to of stuck him in a really awkward spot. Jesus, you're giving Wolfe some crazy screen time and a massive push. Good job. Chris Jericho back in the Money in the Bank, nothing can go wrong there. Hopefully you don't forget about Santino, though. Totally the best character of the time. A bit of a bland main event but that's understandable. Loving what you're doing with Nexus. The Money in the Bank pay-per-view's looking sweet. Good job, man.

(Graphic credit: Elliot) Friday Night Smackdown | July 2nd 2010 Dark Match - Wade Barrett def. Caylen Croft via pinfall. Kane def. Dolph Ziggler via disqualification. Kane made his way down to the ring with a casket, still searching for his brothers attacker. Ziggler has qualified for Money in the Bank, and has been looking good in recent weeks but the big red monster was just too much for him to handle in his current state of mine. The conclusion to the match arrived with Kane delivering a Choke Slam of the apron in to the open casket. Kane tried to trap Ziggler inside the casket, but Dolph managed to escape thanks to some assistance from Vickie Guerrero. Kane went after Vickie allowing Ziggler to grab a chair, hitting Kane in the back with it. Kane showed no emotion as the chair bounced of his back, so Ziggler dropped the chair and retreated from the ring.
The cameras turn to the back where Unified Tag Team Champions, Hart Dynasty along with Natalya are talking. They get interrupted by World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk and his Straight Edge Society. Punk pokes fun of their Canadian ways before telling them that they have no chance of defending their belts against Gallows & Mercury at Money in the Bank. Suddenly, fellow Canadian, Christian appears and tells Punk he should be more worried about who is going to win Money in the Bank and have a World Championship Match whenever they want against him. Punk laughs and asks Christian if he thinks he'll not only win the ladder match, but go on to win the World Championship, he is deluded. Punk and the Straight Edge Society leave.
Coming back from a commercial break, a graphic appears showing that because of what happened before the commercial break, CM Punk will face Christian in tonight's main event in non-title action.
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match - Cody Rhodes def. JTG via pinfall. Fairly obvious how this one was going to turn out as "Dashing" Cody Rhodes has at least been on TV in recent months. JTG had his fair share of offence during the mouth however, but after a nice comeback, Cody Rhodes caught JTG with the Disaster Kick, stunning him long enough to allow Rhodes to connect with the Cross Rhodes to pick up the victory.
The cameras turn to the back where Matt Striker is standing by with Kofi Kingston, and Rey Mysterio. Rey Mysterio says he doesn't know why Batista has been acting the way he has, but he'll never let someone back him in to a corner. He says if Batista wants a fight, he's going to get one.
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match - MVP & Matt Hardy def. The Gate Crashers via pinfall. Hawkins & Archer of the Gate Crashers attacked Matt Hardy last week before MVP made the save, somewhat setting up this tag team money in the bank qualifying match. A fun tag match that eventually finished with former tag champs, MVP & Matt Hardy hitting the comeback, before Matt Hardy took out Curt Hawkins with the twist of fate to pick up the victory.
Another video plays hyping the debut of Alberto Del Rio.
Drew McIntyre & Batista def. Kofi Kingston & Rey Mysterio via pinfall. This is the first time Batista and Rey Mysterio have been on opposite sides of the ring since Batista turned on his former friend at the Fatal Four Way pay-per-view just weeks ago. Unfortunately for the fans, Rey couldn't get any redemption tonight as Batista & McIntyre worked on Kingston for a majority of the match. Eventually, while McIntyre was the legal man with Kingston, Kofi dived across the ring, getting the hot tag allowing Mysterio to enter the ring. Rey hit all his lucha spots on McIntyre only to turn around and be speared down to the canvas by Batista. Mysterio rolled in pain to his corner where Kingston tagged himself in and climbed to the top rope. Kingston looked for a big axe handle but Batista caught him with the spine buster. McIntyre hooked the leg of Kingston to pick up the victory.
Following the match, with Kingston and McIntyre gone, Batista stood over his former friend, Rey Mysterio. Batista dragged the broken Mysterio to his feet, setting him up for the Batista Bomb. once in the air, Mysterio managed to counter it, setting Batista up for the 619. Mysterio ran the ropes and attempted the 619, but Batista moved out of the way, and rolled out of the ring. Batista grinned as Mysterio looked on. Clearly there was some fight left in Mysterio.
The cameras turn to the back where Theodore Long is seen on the phone. He's overheard talking about Jack Swagger still being missing.
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match - Big Show def. Shad Gaspard via pinfall. Shad Gaspard hasn't been on TV in some months since splitting up with former Cryme Tyme partner, JTG, so it was fairly obvious what way this match was going. Shad stood pretty close to Big Show in height but it just wasn't enough as the giant put him away with a devastating KO Punch.
A Raw Rewind video plays showing the Nexus vs WWE brawl that took place at the end of the show. The video shows the parts that we didn't see because of the show ending where Nexus wrapped John Cena's arm in a chair, before Brodus Clay hit the splash on it, seemingly breaking Cena's arm. It is shown that wwe.com reported that Cena needed immediate medical attention and that on Monday Night Raw, Cena will be forced to relinquish the WWE Championship.
CM Punk defeated. Christian via pinfall. A real solid main event this week for Smackdown with World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk taking on one of the men who may take the Money in the Bank case at Money in the Bank, Christian. During the match, the Straight Edge Society got involved when the referee was preoccupied, but eventually all hell broke loose as The Hart Dynasty, along with Natalya ran down to even the odds. The Hart Dynasty and the Straight Edge Society brawled through the crowd. Punk was distracted by this, leaving his back turned which allowed Christian to try and hit the Killswitch. Punk was able to push Christian away, and deliver a kick to the side of the head before lifting him up and connecting with the GTS. Punk hooked the leg and got the three count.
Following the bell, the entrance music of Smackdown General Manager, Theodore Long plays as the man himself makes his way on to the entrance ramp. Long congratulates CM Punk on the victory tonight but tells him that a decision has been made on his Money in the Bank opponent, to which he will be defending his World Heavyweight Championship. Punk acts cocky until the ring pyro of Kane goes off, with the Big Red Machine making his way through the curtain with the same casket from earlier. Kane laughs as the show fades to black.

Good opening contest with Kane and Dolph Ziggler. I did like the finish with the emotionally scarred Kane trying to force Dolph into the casket. Liked the segment backstage with the Straight Edge Society, the Hart Dynasty, and Christian. Glad it also resulted in the main event of Punk vs. Christian. Should be an excellent match. Expected victory for Cody Rhodes. I know he's barely dipping his feet into the 'Dashing' gimmick, but I would love to see him pull out the surprise victory in the Money In The Bank Ladder match. Another expected qualifying victory for Matt Hardy and MVP. Can't see either winning, though. I would also like to see MP turn heel at some point soon. I always saw him as a solid talent and felt he would be condemned to mid-card hell as a face. Very good tag team match with Batista and Drew McIntyre getting the victory. The aftermath was fine as you didn't kill Mysterio yet. I do expect that to come soon, though. Jack Swagger is missing? Probably just banging his porn star wife. Big Show qualifying for Money In The Bank was fine. Not like he's going to win it, anyways. Lastly, fantastic main event with CM Punk defeating Christian. Good victory to give some momentum to the World Heavyweight Champion. Punk defending against Kane at Money In The Bank is fine. I'm not expecting Kane to win the title, which makes me wonder where you're going with the vegetative Undertaker storyline. A good show.

(Graphic credit: Elliot) Monday Night Raw | July 5th 2010 Following a recap of the ending of last weeks Monday Night Raw, which highlighted the brawl between Nexus and several WWE Superstars, the entrance music of Raw General Manager, Bret Hart played across the PA System. "The Hitman" made his way down to the ring and once inside, Bret confirmed what the entire WWE Universe was talking about. WWE Champion, John Cena is injured. Bret said that the WWE Board of Directors have decided to strip John Cena of the WWE Championship, as he can no longer defend the Championship. John Cena's theme hit as the champion with his arm in a sling made his way down to the ring. With both men in the ring, Bret said he was sorry and that it had to be done. Cena asked for the microphone and said that The Nexus have taken the most important thing in this business away from him and that when he comes back, he hopes they're still around so he can kick all their asses. Cena then said that to whoever is WWE Champion next, they have 4 months. Cena says he is dedicated and determined to be back by Survivor Series so as the former WWE Champion, he is cashing in his rematch at Survivor Series. The entrance music of Nexus plays as all the members of Nexus appear on the entrance ramp. Only Desmond Wolfe makes his way down to the ring, and when inside, he applauds Cena and offers to shake his hand, making sure that that the hand he offered would mean Cena would have to shake with his broken arm. Wolfe laughed at his own sense of humour, before telling Cena that when Survivor Series comes, he'd be happy to give Cena his Championship Rematch to which Bret Hart asks Desmond Wolfe why he thinks he'll be WWE Champion. Desmond says he was the number one contender and as such he should be given the WWE Championship as the Champion can not compete. Bret says that won't be happen but Desmond does have a chance to win the WWE Championship as he always did, at Money in the Bank. Bret says that unlike before, Desmond will not have one opponent but four as the WWE Championship will be on the line in a Championship Scramble match. Desmond Wolfe looks disgusted but he looks even worse when Bret tells him that the other four men involved will be Mark Henry, Edge, Sheamus & Randy Orton. Wolfe shoves Hart, causing Hart to shove back. When Wolfe stumbled back, he walked right in to an Attitude Adjustment from John Cena, broken arm and all. The Nexus ran down to the ring but Cena retreated through the crowd. The segment ends with Cena's music playing as he celebrates with the crowd and telling the camera "I'll see you all come November"
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match - R Truth def. Ted DiBiase via pinfall. Ted DiBiase had his other half, Maryse in his corner tonight, and because of this, her Diva's Champion opponent at Money in the bank, Eve came down with R Truth. DiBiase attacked Truth last week on Raw claiming he was coming after the United States Championship, but tonight it was about qualifying for the Money in the bank Ladder match. After a fun back n forth opening match, Maryse tried to get involved causing Eve to knock her of the apron. As the diva's went at it, DiBiase became distracted, allowing Truth to turn him around and hit the Jumping Reverse STO to pick up the victory.
Following a commercial break, the cameras turn to the screen where the commentators talk about some breaking news matches announced by Bret Hart for tonight. The first graphic that appears shows that Edge will face Mark Henry and then the second graphic shows that Randy Orton will be facing the leader of the Nexus, Desmond Wolfe.
Evan Bourne def. The Miz via pinfall. Both men have already qualified for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, and Evan Bourne has been on a role since defeating Chris Jericho at the Fatal Four Way pay-per-view. Miz himself has been starting a come back but tonight it was derailed as he was caught off guard with a kick to the head allowing Evan Bourne to go up top and fly like only he can with the Shooting Star Press. Bourne hooked the leg to pick up the victory. The commentators put over how Evan Bourne is seemingly the favourite going in to Money in the Bank.
The cameras turn to the back where an angry Desmond Wolfe is yelling at The Nexus about John Cena attacking him earlier. Desmond says as the next WWE Champion he doesn't deserve to be treated like that, and tonight he's going to show Randy Orton that. Desmond tells his group to keep an eye on the Mark Henry/Edge match before grinning.
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match - John Morrison def. Zack Ryder via pinfall. These two went at it two weeks ago, and in a rematch, higher stakes were on the line. This was essentially the same match as before, with both men getting the spots in, but in the end, Morrison was able to put Ryder away with Starship Pain.
The cameras turn to the screen where a Smackdown Rebound is played. The video highlights the on going Rey Mysterio/Batista feud as well as CM Punk vs Kane for the World Championship being announced for Money in the Bank.
Mark Henry def. Edge via pinfall. Two of the men involved in the WWE Championship Scramble match at Money in the Bank went at it in what turned out to be a very competitive match. Mark Henry's work rate has increased in the last month or so since his sudden push, but Edge was able to hang in there, keeping the Worlds Strongest man grounded. The end of the match arrived with Mark Henry on the canvas, slowly getting to his feet as Edge called for the Spear in the corner. As Henry got up to a vertical base, Edge charged across the ring, but as Henry turned around, he lifted Edge off his feet and slammed him out of no where with the World's Strongest Slam. Henry hooked the leg and picked up the somewhat surprising victory.
Following the bell, All nexus members apart from leader, Desmond Wolfe hit the ring. With Edge out of it, they all focused on Mark Henry. Mark tried to fight back but the 7 on 1 assault was too much for him to handle. Henry was down to his knees where Daniel Bryan delivered some sick kicks to his chest, before hitting a round house kick to the head. Brodus Clay then hit with a splash before Tarver, Otunga, Hennig and Slater dragged Henry near the corner. Gabriel climbed to the top rope and hit his 450 Splash. Nexus stood tall over Mark Henry, leaving a statement.
Chris Jericho def. Vladimir Kozlov via pinfall. Last week, Chris Jericho slapped about Santino Marella during their Money in the Bank qualifying match. This didn't please Santino's partner, Vladimir Kozlov who tried to defend his friend after their match last week only for Jericho to retreat. This week, Jericho had no where to run as Kozlov threw Jericho around the ring. Jericho began getting momentum back, working on Vladmir's leg to keep him grounded. Santino jumped on the apron, doing the cobra taunt, distracting Jericho. Kozlov charged at Jericho, but he moved out of the way, nearly sending Kozlov in to Santino but he stopped in time. Kozlov turned around walking straight in to the Codebreaker, and Jericho grinned at Santino while hooking the leg and getting the three count.
A replay of the opening segment is shown highlighting the fact that WWE Champion, John Cena was forced to vacate the championship due to injury, but announcing that he will challenge for the Championship on his return at the November Survivor Series pay-per-view.
Randy Orton def. Desmond Wolfe via disqualification. A huge main event for Raw this week as Nexus leader, Desmond Wolfe took on fan favourite, Randy Orton. Both men were looking to pick up the victory to have momentum for Money in the Bank, but after a really good back n forth match, the ending was spoiled as the one competitor in the Championship Scramble we hadn't seen tonight, Sheamus appeared in the ring. Orton had no idea and tried to hit the RKO on Desmond Wolfe. Wolfe countered by pushing Orton straight in to the direction of Sheamus who took Orton's head off with the Brogue kick. Desmond Wolfe retreated from the ring and he walked over to where the WWE Championship was on display. Wolfe raised the championship as Sheamus stared him down from the ring.

Good opening promo, although I'm not completely sold on the Cena injury. However, you have made it a good recovery for the championship scramble, and I'd love to see Wolfe have help from the Nexus and win it. However, I feel like somebody else will and he will get a feud before Cena comes back. I dunno. I guess I am cool with R-Truth winning, never been too fond of him. However, DiBiase isn't too grand either now is he? Good victory for Evan Bourne, and he is indeed a favorite going into the Money in the Bank. I don't think he will win though. John Morrison qualifying was the obvious choice here, Ryder isn't anything really. Mark Henry beating Edge is huge for him, but I love the Nexus completely destroying him. Definitely shows their strength over anybody if they can have strength over the World's Strongest Man. Finally, a good main event with a nice ending and the touch of Wolfe taunting with the title. A good show, just wish there was more segments involved as this seems so match heavy and kind of short. For what there was though, was good.

Good opening segment with John Cena being stripped of the WWE Championship. It definitely shakes things up, but I am curious how these next few months without Cena will go, especially with The Nexus tearing sh*t up and what not. The Championship Scramble sounds nice. I'm hoping Desmond takes the title, despite it maybe being too soon. I just want to see it. R-Truth qualifying for the Money In The Bank match is cool. Would have preferred DiBiase, but it's all good. Can't see Truth winning, though. Evan Bourne over The Miz is a rather surprising call. Can't see Bourne winning either. My gut feeling is that you'll keep Miz as the winner, as he should be in my opinion. Glad John Morrison qualified for the Ladder Match. Zack Ryder is terrible and should feel terrible. Another surprising call, I feel, with Mark Henry defeating Edge. It's a great win to establish him as a threat in the Championship Scramble. Nexus' attack afterwards was cool, not sure on Desmond Wolfe not being there though. Makes the rest of Nexus look like henchmen and takes away the "we are one" aspect. Obvious victory for Chris Jericho over Vladimir Kozlov. I'm hoping to see Jericho get involved in the Nexus stuff at some point. Him vs. Wolfe would be amazing. Lastly, great main event. The DQ finish was nice to keep everyone's momentum still. Wolfe with the WWE Championship is an image that I hope comes to fruition here. A good show overall.

(Graphic credit: HEELRyan) Tuesday Night NXT | July 6th 2010 Following a fancy intro to the first ever episode of the relaunched NXT, we head to the commentator's table where we are welcomed to the show by Byron Saxton & Matt Striker. Both men put over the fact that we are about to witness the future stars of WWE right here tonight. Legendary WWE Ring Announcer, Howard Finkel is standing in the ring, and he introduces the General Manager of NXT, former host of the Abraham Washington show on ECW, the one and only, Abraham Washington! Washington makes his way through the curtain, thanking everyone despite the crowd not applauding him. Abe welcomes everyone to the inaugural edition of the newly relaunched NXT and what other way is there to start of a new show than the announcement of a World Championship Tournament. A graphic appears on the screen showing eight men, Percy Watson, Johnny Curtis, Jinder Mahal, Kaval, Mason Ryan, Jacob Novak, Alex Riley & Richie Steamboat. Abe says that each week, two tournament matches will take place each week, starting tonight with the Quarter Finals. A video plays on screen hyping the debut next week of tag team sensations, Kota Ibushi & Kenny Omega, collectively known as the Golden Lovers. A video plays on screen with Jinder Mahal hyping his Quarter Final Tournament Match next week against Percy Watson. Almost right away, another video plays with Percy's response. NXT World Championship Tournament Quarter Final - Richie Steamboat def. Jacob Novak via pinfall. The opening match of the NXT World Championship was under way with Jacob Novak taking on the son of the legendary Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, Richie Steamboat. The crowd were in to Steamboat, especially when he used his fathers mannerisms with the japanese armdrag, and the diving chops. Eventually, Novak went for a Superplex only for Steamboat to push him off the top rope. Novak got to his feet, but he was dropped again by Steamboat who connected with a cross body from the top rope to pick up the victory. The cameras turn to the back where AJ Lee & Jamie Keyes are talking about how exciting it is to be apart of NXT. They are interrupted by Maxine & Aksana who ask AJ if she's even old enough to be apart of the roster. The girls go back n forth till Jamie loses her cool and slaps Maxine causing a brawl to break out. Several referees and agents rush over to break it up. Rotundo Brothers def. Los Aviadores via pinfall. Duke & Bo Rotundo, sons of WWE Alumni, IRS took on the masked luchadores, Epico & Hunico of Los Aviadores in a fun back n forth tag team match. The Rotundo Brothers used a Strength/Speed yin & yang style with Duke being a lot heavier than his younger brother. Eventually, it led them to victory as Bo hit the spear on Epico, that Duke quickly followed up with a running senton to pick up the victory. A video plays hyping up one of them in the NXT World Championship tournament, "Red Dragon" Mason Ryan. Wales own Mason Ryan proudly wears the Welsh Red Dragon on his back and he says he'll bring NXT gold back home to Wales. NXT World Championship Tournament Quarter Final - Kaval def. Johnny Curtis via pinfall. The main event of the night saw Johnny Curtis take on the world traveller formally known as Low Ki, Kaval. The commentators put over the fact that Kaval has wrestled and been a champion all over the world, and now he is finally looking to get a break in the WWE Universe. Curtis and Kaval had good chemistry with each other, putting on an exciting match. The finish arrived with Kaval hitting the rolling kick he calls the Tidal Wave. Kaval wasn't finished however as he went to the top rope and dived off, planting both feet in to the stomach of Johnny Curtis, connecting with the Warrior's Way. Kaval hooked the leg and picked up the victory to advance in the tournament.

First off, very unique idea to introduce the current format of NXT in 2010. I do think that it's a bit too soon after the conclusion of the competition-based NXT, and the roster doesn't seem all that great compared to the developmental talent of today. Nonetheless, it's an interesting idea that I look forward to seeing unfold. The tournament to crown an NXT Champion looks pretty solid. Pulling for Alex Riley. He's a total waste nowadays, but his "Varsity Villain" gimmick in FCW was gold. Glad Richie Steamboat got the victory here to advance in the tournament. Jacob Novak is crap. The Divas brawl backstage seemed like a mess. AJ is definitely going to be the stand out Diva of the brand. She'll be to this diary's NXT what Paige is to the actual NXT. The Rotundo Brothers, nice. Decent win for Duke and Bo to establish themselves. Would like to see Los Aviadores gain some momentum. I always thought it was a mistake on WWE's not to bring up Hunico and Epico under their masked duo gimmick. Lastly, great main event with Kaval defeating Johnny Curtis. While I expect both men to compete premier stars of the bran, Kaval going over was definitely the right call. I wouldn't be surprised if we get Riley/Kaval in the Finals, or Mason/Kaval. Overall, a pretty good inaugural edition of the newly formatted NXT. Looking forward to more.

(Graphic credit: Elliot) Friday Night Smackdown | July 9th 2010 Smackdown gets under way this week, with no opening segment that normally takes place but with the entrance music of Kofi Kingston for the final World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank qualifying match.
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match - Kofi Kingston def. Batista via count out. The show kicks off in a big way with the final qualifying match for the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank Ladder match at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, as Kofi Kingston looked to somehow defeat Batista. Ever since Batista turned on his friend, Rey Mysterio, he has been a wrecking ball of destruction over the Smackdown roster and tonight was no different. Batista threw Kingston around the ring like a rag doll, with Kofi getting in very little offence besides the odd flurry of punches or a kick to the gut. Eventually, Rey Mysterio's theme hit and the masked luchadore appeared on the ramp. Batista left the ring, daring Rey to come closer but Batista then climbed the ring apron only to have Kofi hit the Trouble in Paradise. Batista fell to the floor and because he never entered the ring, the ref's count continued. The ref hit 10 and Kofi was announced as the winner. Batista looked on in shock as Kofi fled from the area and celebrated with his friend, Rey Mysterio.
The cameras turn to the back where Theodore Long is on the phone. The angle continues where Jack Swagger is still missing since losing the World Championship, and family members are starting to get worried. When Long gets off the phone, Drew McIntyre is standing there and tells Long that he isn't through with him yet, claiming that Long should not be the general manager, and its still his mission to get Long fired. Long says he has more important things to worry about but tells McIntyre that he should get ready for his Intercontinental Championship defence tonight. McIntyre grins and asks what man he will be facing, but Long says that it'll be men, not a man as he'll face Matt Hardy, Dolph Ziggler and MVP in a Fatal Four Way match.
Michelle McCool def. Tiffany via pinfall. The Smackdown diva's division seems to have no direction at the moment. Your basic short diva's match with Michelle McCool picking up the victory with the Faith Breaker.
The cameras turn to the back where Batista is being interviewed. Batista is still in a state of shock at losing to Kofi Kingston earlier and says that he has finally gotten word that because of his actions earlier, his match with Rey Mysterio at Money in the Bank has been confirmed. Batista says that Mysterio has now cost him the chance to be World Heavyweight Champion again twice and he will regret it.
A graphic appears on the screen, as the commentators say Mysterio has to wait to worry about Batista because tonight in the main event, he has world champion CM Punk in singles action.
Straight Edge Society def. The Dudebusters via pinfall. A fun back n forth tag match with Joey Mercury and Luke Gallows looking good heading in to their Tag Team Championship match with the Hart Dynasty at Money in the Bank. The Dudebusters have seemingly transitioned in to faces and actually had the crowd behind them, but eventually, Gallows put Croft away with the Gallow's Pole to pick up the victory.
Another Alberto Del Rio video package plays on the titantron with the message "coming soon to Smackdown"
Christian def. Cody Rhodes via pinfall. Really good tv match with two of the men in the Money in the Bank ladder match going at it in singles action. Both men went back n forth, hitting their spots but in the end, a nice duck of the Beautiful Disaster, allowed Christian to hook the arms and slam Cody with the Killswitch. Christian hooked the leg and picked up the victory. Following the match, Christian pointed up to the briefcase that had been hanging above the ring.
The cameras turn to the back where CM Punk is seen talking to his Straight Edge Society. Punk congratulates them on their victory and tells them it's only a week till The SES has the Tag Team Championships to go with the World Championship. Punk tells them to rest as they'll be needed later tonight when he has to deal with the parasite, Rey Mysterio. Punk and Serena then leave the room. Suddenly, the curtain behind Mercury and Gallows opens to reveal Kane. The cameras fade to black before anything happens.
WWE Intercontinental Championship - Drew McIntyre def. MVP, Dolph Ziggler, & Matt Hardy via pinfall. Because of his actions earlier, Theodore Long forced Drew McIntyre to defend his Intercontinental Championship against 3 of the men that he'll be facing at the Money in the Bank ladder match next week. Another good television match with the crowd mostly behind MVP or Matt Hardy to win the championship. The finish to the match arrived with Matt Hardy hitting the Twist of Fate on Dolph Ziggler, only for MVP to hit the drive by kick on Hardy. McIntyre would quickly take advantage by rolling MVP up with the school boy, and holding on to the ropes for extra leverage to pick up the three count.
The Raw rebound plays showing John Cena vacating the WWE Championship due to injury. The video then shows the main event match of Desmond Wolfe vs Randy Orton that ended in disqualification when The Nexus attacked Randy Orton.
CM Punk and Serena are shown making their way towards the entrance curtain, without Luke Gallows or Joey Mercury. Punk is seen to be annoyed at their disappearance, and has no idea that Kane was in the room with them earlier.
CM Punk def. Rey Mysterio via pinfall. Real solid main event to Smackdown this week as World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk took on the man that is the reason he's wearing a mask right now, Rey Mysterio. The two masked men put on an extremely entertaining match, with a few teases of Mysterio trying to unmask Punk. The finish to the match finally arrived with a great sequence as Mysterio hit the 619 successfully on Punk. Instead of going for the springboard splash, like he normally does, Rey went to the top rope and turned around for a moonsault, but when he dived off, Punk caught Mysterio on his shoulders in a perfect set up for the GTS. Punk kneed Mysterio in the jaw and it was all over.
Following the match, the cameras turn to the screen where Gallows and Mercury are seen unconscious on the ground. Suddenly, Kane's pyro goes off and the monster makes his way down to the ring. Punk and Sarena retreat through the crowd with Kane in hot pursuit. When the cameras turn back to the ring, Batista is standing in the corner, waiting for Mysterio to get up to his feet. When he does, Batista breaks Mysterio in half with a devastating spear.

Just read through this, really really enjoying the storylines you have going on. The concept of Nexus with Wolfe in place of Barrett is really cool, intrigued to see where the Cena injury angle goes as it's probably a bit too soon for Wolfe to win the title, regardless of how cool that would be. I'm a big fan of Punk so seeing him as champion is pretty sweet, like that you still have the Kane/Undertaker angle going and the tag title feud is fun. Interested to see who wins both Money in the Bank matches and you've gained a new reader in me. Can see why this has been given the spotlight, keep up the great work.

(Graphic credit: Elliot) Monday Night Raw | July 12th 2010 The show kicks off with the entrance music of The Nexus playing across the PA System. Desmond Wolfe and his army of stable mates make their way down to the ring, and once inside, Desmond talks about how it's a travesty that he has to face four other men to win the WWE Championship that should have been rightfully his once John Cena vacated it. Barrett says he isn't here to talk about that travesty however as another one has taken place. Wolfe demands that the Raw General Manager, Bret Hart makes his way down to the ring. Bret's theme hits and once inside, Wolfe asks him for confirmation whether or not his win against Mark Henry several weeks ago earned his team mates a WWE Contract. Bret says it did, to which Wolfe then asks why none of them have been given qualifying matches for the Money in the Bank ladder match. Wolfe says this is a wrong that he needs to right. Bret Hart agrees to an extent and tells Wolfe he is going to fix that. Hart says there are three spots left in the ladder match, so to pick three members of the nexus. Hart says if those three men beat three men who have already qualified for the match in six man tag action, they will be in. But for this to happen, Wolfe must face a mystery opponent tonight. Wolfe agrees to these terms as the themes of Evan Bourne, R Truth and John Morrison play.
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match - Nexus def. John Morrison, R Truth & Evan Bourne via submission. After complaining about no Nexus representation in the Money in the Bank ladder match, GM Bret Hart granted their request by telling Barrett to pick 3 members of his squad. If those three men defeat three men who have already qualified for the match, they'll be in. Barrett choose Daniel Bryan, Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel to take on R Truth, Evan Bourne & John Morrion to get the job done and that they did. After a competitive match, John Morrison found himself trapped in the LeBelle Lock by Daniel Bryan. Slater & Gabriel took care of Truth & Bourne on the outside of the ring, leaving Morrison no choice but to tap out.
The cameras turn to the back where Chris Jericho and Miz are talking. Jericho says he knows that they'll both be competing in the money in the bank ladder match this Sunday, but tonight he wants to know if he has Miz's back in sorting out two wanna be comedic jackasses in Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov. Miz says he'll help him out just to see those goofballs get what's coming to them.
Eve Torres def. Gail Kim via pinfall. A fun competitive diva's match here between Diva's Champion, Eve and her friend, Gail Kim. The two shook hands before the match but after Eve won with the moonsault, but the real story developed after the match when Eve helped Gail up to her feet. Gail attacked the leg, she had been working on most of the match, before locking in the half crab. After been pulled of by several referees, Maryse and Ted DiBiase appeared on the stage, and when Gail made her way up to them, Maryse handed her an envelope, that clearly had money in it.
The cameras turn to the back where Sheamus, Mark Henry, Edge & Randy Orton are standing in Bret Hart's office. Bret tells the men that he knows they are opponents this sunday, but tonight, he needs themt co assist to take on four members of The Nexus in tonight's main event. The four men say they can work together, but they each try to put the others down by saying they'll be the man standing with the wwe championship at the ppv.
Foreign Exchange def. Chris Jericho & The Miz via pinfall. Chris Jericho has had his problems with Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov in recent weeks, defeating both of them in singles action. This has led to this tag team match where Jericho is teaming with one of his money in the bank opponents, The Miz. Despite this, Jericho and Miz were on the same page till the very end of the match where Jericho had Marella locked in the walls of Jericho. Santino was about to tap out, only for Miz to come from behind and hit Jericho with the Skull Crushing Finale. Miz left the ring and made his way up the entrance ramp, allowing Santino to get the shocking three count over Jericho. Jericho looked up the ramp at Miz who was just grinning, telling Miz there's no friends when it comes with a chance to be WWE Champion.
Desmond Wolfe def. Great Khali via pinfall. In return for allowing Nexus participation in the Money in the Bank ladder match, Desmond Wolfe was forced to face a mystery opponent. That opponent turned out to be The Great Khali. This was your usual Khali match with him overpowering Wolfe, and throwing him around the ring. Eventually, Michael Tarver and David Otunga ran down to ringside, distracting the referee. This allowed Wolfe to grab a chair, and attack Khali's leg with it. khali fell down to the canvas in pain, as Brodus Clay slid in and hit a big splash. Brodus slid out of the ring as Wolfe hooked the leg and picked up the three count.
"This week on Smackdown, watch as World Heavyweight Champion, CM punk teams with the unlikely partner of Batista to take on their Money in the Bank opponents, Kane & Rey Mysterio."
Hart Dynasty def. The Uso's via pinfall. The Hart Dynasty and The Uso's have had their problems for a few months now. Sadly, the Uso's have kind of just been thrown to the side in favour of the Straight Edge Society but as usual, they made for a solid match against the current tag champs. After several minutes of fun back n forth action, Hart Dynasty put Jimmy Uso away with a double team Spine Buster/Spring Board Clothesline attack.
The cameras cut to the screen where the matches for this Sunday's Money in the Bank ppv is shown, headlined by CM Punk defending the World Championship against Kane, and the WWE Championship Scramble match between Desmond Wolfe, Mark Henry, Edge, Randy Orton & Sheamus.
Nexus def. Randy Orton, Mark Henry, Edge & Sheamus via pinfall. Brodus Clay, David Otunga, Michael Tarver & Joe Hennig repersented the Nexus in tonights main event against the four men that will do battle against each other and the nexus leader to claim a WWE Champion at Money in the Bank. This was a solid back n forth match till Edge & Sheamus decided to leave, much like Miz did earlier. Orton and Henry did their best to fight off the four men, but in the end, Tarver, Otunga & Hennig dived on top of Henry as Brodus hit the fall of humanity on Orton to pick up the victory.
Following the match, Edge & Sheamus make their way up the entrance ramp, walking backwards while grinning at what they're seeing in the ring as the four Nexus members continue their assault on Mark Henry. Suddenly, Desmond Wolfe appears from behind and attacks both men with a pipe. Wolfe makes his way down to the ringside area and grabs the WWE Championship that is still in a display case. Wolfe enters the ring, and the Nexus lift their leader on to their shoulders where Wolfe raises the title to close the show.
