Punk/Rock was a lot better than Cena/Rock. Cena/Rock was a straight up match, between two of the biggest stars in the history of the business. Last nights match against Punk could have been The Rock against anyone. CM Punk didn't stand out as being anything special at all based on his performance. The interference by the Shield didn't help either. Who cares if Rock vs Cena was a match between two big stars, doesn't mean it was a good match. Rock vs Punk was so much better, IMO.

Good rumble, bit predictable but not everything should be unexpected. So much better than last year but it felt a bit short, I think it's because of the 40 man rumble was so long it feels a bit odd now seeing only 30 so maybe they should go to 2 min entries instead to spread it out a bit more.
ADR/show was good but wa a bit short, nice but world title opener is not working for me at all, just change the whc to ic or us title and it would be better to me.
Tag match was standard.
Love the pre-rumble comments and my god Big E reporter man was so brilliant.
Enjoyed the rumble so much more than last year but slightly disappointed and not having another returning star the level of Morrison, Benjamin or an appearance by a new age outlaw member. Not the best rumble and Cena winning was very bland but he just spent a year loosing so it's not like he's been in the title picture a lot anyway. I'm actually quite excited by this and looking forward o chamber to see how mania will shape up now. Cena/rock II is exciting for me because #1 was such a let down I want a bit less razzle daz with te singing and what not and just having a proper match with a bit more emotion other than "oh it's the rock, he's a big star". It's unlikely but I hope this is one last hurrah so super Cena before a character change, not even needed to be heel just more gritty and serious.
Wwe title match was good, ending was a bit strange but worked and I'm sort of glad punk doesn't have the belt anymore, it was a point now where he needs to be a chaser and I'm excited to see how his character will develope further now. Better than rock/Cena too.
Didn't like stage, glad they change it but it was too big or long to me and distracted from the ring action.

In the end, I try to be positive, I've tried to enjoy everything over the past year because it IS supposed to be entertainment....but I can safely say that it is becoming harder and harder to even be entertained when ALL the guys I enjoy watching are made to look like ing fools on a regular basis.....and now Punk loses like that? It's ing terrible and this company. I have so much negativity flowing in my blood right now I really don't even know how to put it all out there. CM Punk defends the WWE title for over a year, taking on all comers...never backing down and being a fighting champion. They turn him heel and he can't win a ing match without interference.....and then he loses the belt to a PEOPLE'S ELBOW and of course superman wins the Rumble "defying the odds and overcoming adversity" Was Ziggler even in the rumble? Oh yeah, he was in for like 60 minutes but they BARELY even talked about it....he gets to the final 4 and is out immediately The Rumble match itself was pretty damn entertaining. Very fun. but the ending was so boring, anti-climactic and predictable. and that's what they have turned themselves into.... a social-media plugging, self serving, over-selling, predictable show in every sense of the word.

I honestly enjoyed Punk/Rock way more. Probably because I was actually emotionally invested into this match.

I think he problem I had was I expected a rock from 2000 to go out there and really put on a show but he looked so rusty. I was also not really bothered who won at mania but was pulling for punk last night so a bit more emotional investment helped it there.

My prediction was correct this year for a change! I thought it was quite obvious Cena would win, he had such a stale 2012 that he needed this win more than most to give him some steam again. Although promises are not exactly guarantees in WWE i had a hunch with Cena that this was a promise going to come true and Cena delivered. Cant see Rock going over Cena again at WM soooo if it is indeed another Cena Rock match...id have to go Cena.

I doubt I'll watch Rock/Punk on youtube ever again. Despite marking the out at the victory, the match was poor imo. Rock/Cena - I've watched numerous times since Mania.

What got me back intered in WWE was Punk and his reign, and I wasnt a big Punk fan to begin with but he was built so well. As was the ongoing feud with Ryback paralleled with the Shield. All that thrown out in one night for two gimmick goofballs cena and Rock. Hopefully it'll bring more hate on rock and cena. And i dont hate rOCK BUT i'M COMPLETELY TIRED OF HIM AND HIS SCHTICK. sTAY IN HOLLYWOOD ALREADY!

I just how they bring back The Rock to go over their 2 biggest stars. Maybe in the next few weeks on RAW he'll go over the likes of Orton, Sheamus, Bryan, Cesaro, Barrett, Del Rio, Miz, Ziggler, The Shield etc. I mean, why not?

Its gonna be weird to not see the WWE Champion on Raw every week.
But in all honesty, why couldn't they have just stripped Punk of the title or let him go over last night, and leave some suspense for Raw and give people a reason to tune in.
Seriously though, WWE has become a horrible business model wrestling wise. All they are worried about is social mefia and partnerships. I understand partnering with an anti-bully group is good PR, but it is wrestling!!! Two grown men and women fighting each other.
I really wish WWE would focus on beingba wrestling company first and foremost. Because if you cater to your real fans and churn out a good product people will still come and support.
WWE is always gonna try to fit into the mainstream and as much as i hate to say it, they will not. Its just not that popular of an outlet

I don't like the ending either, but rewatching the match just now it was a great one, and in my opinion, MUCH better than Rock/Cena. I thought that match sucked. Take the last couple minutes out of it, it was pretty much what I thought it would be. A damn fine match.
People are just letting the hatred for the finish overshadow what was previously pretty darn good.

Now that the dust has settled a bit, I wanted to point out a major gripe I had with the Rumble match itself, and this has been something that's been occurring for a few years now...
I can't stand it when a big name gets in and goes on an elimination spree, throwing out 3-5 guys in seconds. Throwing out a couple of no names to build momentum is fine, but Cena shouldn't have gotten in there and almost immediately eliminated the likes of Cody Rhodes and Antonio Cesaro. It just looked horrible.
Rhodes, in particular, had lasted nearly a half hour at that point. He looked like a legitimate contender, and he had more heat than ANYONE in that match, bar none. No one was even coming close to the reaction Cody was drawing (aside from the Y2J chants). Then Cena comes out and unceremoniously tosses him over the top rope like he's nothing. I have no issue with Cena eliminating Rhodes, but it shouldn't have been so quick and easy after such a performance. They've been doing this for a few years now and it drives me crazy.
On a positive note, I loved the interaction between Kane and Bryan. I was almost sort of hoping Kane had a soft spot and slide Bryan back in the ring, though. It would have been an interesting little dynamic to continue their angle.

^ thing with Kane & Bryan...
the WWE is doing their best to make Bryan look like the weakest link in that team BY FAR. he is constantly the butt of the jokes, constantly the one taking the pins (when they lose or if they each do separate matches kane wins, bryan loses), and basically he's the "lucky-to-be-there" guy....despite getting some of the biggest reactions of ANYONE in the company. it didn't surprise me in the least that Kane just dropped him.

Like others have said, The show was actually entertaining as hell if we're talking about Wrestling/Entertainment and not booking.
At least Ryback, Sheamus or Orton didn't win the Rumble. I actually wanted Jericho to do it and I hope he wins it at least once in his career. The Rumble was good but the way Cena won it was lame. MUCH better then last years.
Rock vs Punk could of been better but was still better then Rock vs Cena. Sucks that Punk lost the Title, He should of went into WM as the Champion. Hopefully its Rock/Cena/Punk at WM.
Well it looks like The Elimination Chamber is Punk's last chance to find his way back into the WM main event. If Rock walks out of EC as the Champion then get ready for Rock vs Cena II.

I love the way Kane and Bryan have been handled for a while now. Making the Tag Titles matter again. They are basically two main event caliber guys dragging the belts up to near main event status.

Well... ADR vs Show was really good in my book. All I wanted was for them to match what they did on Smackdown, and they delivered. Tag Match was the usual stuff, pretty good. The Rumble was actually pretty fantastic until the last 5 or 6 when Orton and Zigg both got dumped out by WWE's ing golden boys like it was nothing. Yeah I know I sound like the classic IWC smark here but come on man, all three guys just feel so stale and it ing sucked seeing Ziggler go about 60 minutes basically unnoticed, as well as Cody getting fed straight to Cena after a really good run. Rock's promo before his match was one of the worst I've ever seen, just drivel. As for the Main Event itself, I didn't really think it was anything too special. I'm sure whatever they do with the title at WM29 will be interesting at least, but I just wasn't a fan of the way the stage was set tonight. And yes, I'm not too proud to admit I'm super pissed that Punk lost haha.
