I am so tired of the same thing every week I am a big Punk fan and have been for a long time. Summer 2011 was great and I thought we might be getting somewhere but then it just fizzled away and died. Is their anything else out their that is good? Is TNA getting any better? I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I can't ask on WWE or TNA boards I wont get a fair answer. Any suggestions would help, I just want to be entertained again.

If it's showcase wrestling you're looking for, PWG is great. The only real issue with watching an indy promotion is that you have to buy all their shows to stay up to date. www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com/There's always Ring of Honor, who now have somewhat of a tv deal, and an Internet Pay-Per-View system in place. Many would say their product hasn't been as good as previous years though. www.rohwrestling.com/

CHIKARA, PWG, DGUSA, EVOLVE all have had some great stuff this year. NJPW has also had a good year.

I'm not sure why it's never gotten any love on this board, but SHIMMER has been one of the best Indie feds since it's inception. With previous volumes having some of the greatest women wrestlers like Lacey, Daizee Haze, MsChif, Amazing Kong, Sara Del Rey, and Serena Deeb (who's been out with an injury or concussion, I believe), not to mention Beth Phoenix and Nattie Neidhart were both on a couple DVD's. Then they still have some of the best like Mercedes Martinez, Cheerleader Melissa (Alissa Flash from TNA), Lufisto, The Canadian Ninjas, Saraya Knight (Paige's mom from NXT) Madison Eagles, Jessie McKay, Hailey Hatred, and tons of joshi wrestlers that make appearances like Ayako Hamada, Ayumi Kurihara, Hiroyo Matsumoto, Ray, Leon, Kana, Yumi Ohka, and Tomoka Nakagawa. And then there's a bunch of rising stars like Athena (who is bad ass and will probably be huge in 2013), Courtney Rush, Kellie Skater, Christina Von Eerie and Leva Bates. SHIMMER really has a huge mix of styles as they have women from literally all over the world at each taping. And it's not the kind of wrestling you're used to seeing from the Diva's or Knockouts.
Chikara is also a great promotion for many different reasons. There's quite a bit of comedy, mixed with interesting characters, storylines and great wrestling of course. Chikara and SHIMMER are my personal favorites.
PWG is also outstanding. I don't think you can really go wrong with their DVD's.
