AJ talking about Metal Gear Solid action figures...*swoon*
Living Vicariously is my website. Featuring wrestling-related pages, satirical articles, 90s culture & a variety of video content including video game reviews!
Love how Tom put on his "sexy" voice for the AJ interview. Tom should have interviewed her in his wrestling gear. lol Kinda wish he had interviewed Punk too. Nothing against Tim Ash, but I prefer Tom.
The Punk interview kinda made it seem like he wasn't too thrilled to be there again. Last year I met Punk later on in the signing and we had a pretty lengthy encounter. This year I got VIP tickets and met him right away. He just signed, posed for the pic, and said "Thanks, man."
AJ on the other hand may officially be the coolest wrestler I've ever met (A title previously held by Punk). We had a pretty cool conversation. It was brief, but it was one I still can't stop bragging about. The VIP ticket entitled me to two autographs from each. So I had an 8X10 signed and didn't know what to do with the other autograph. Then I remembered my mom's birthday was coming up. So I made up a card for everyone to sign. When AJ saw the card she was like, "You want me to sign this?" I said I did because my mom's birthday was coming up. AJ said "You are SO adorable!" Then she signed and posed for the picture. Then she was like "You are such a great son. So is your mom a wrestling fan?" I said yes and she said "Nice! What a cool mom."
Sin Cara even said something to me after he signed. I think he said thanks but it was muffled under the mask. After looking at people's autograph's, I think my mom's birthday card has a one of a kind Sin Cara signature. Along the "S" he wrote "Mexico." That wasn't on mine, my brother's, or anyone else's autograph that I've seen. I was a little confused at first when Tim came up to me and my brother and asked us for our names. I thought maybe we had done something wrong or something really cool. Then I realized they were asking so Sin Cara can write it. Credit to Tim though. He was the first person to not say "Tom?" when I said my name was Dom.
BTW, I don't want what I said about meeting Punk to come off as ungrateful. It was a good encounter. I just get the feeling like WWE may be running him down a bit. He seems exhausted.
AJ Lee told me I was adorable. No need for me to say anything else.
