It's a free elite figure, so it is pretty hard to complain about it.

I saw it in person today and the only way I'll get it is if it's free - which luckily it may be. But yeah, it's fairly uninspired. What is this about him being free?

but it's still not what we are used to w/ Mattel. False. Kids expecting Mattel to have the entrance coat done and shipped to stores six months after the event are out of their minds. The fall WrestleMania elites are repaints. The occasional new part -- Rock's head last year, Undertaker's head this year -- but everything else is just repainted old parts. It's exactly what we are used to with Mattel. WrestleMania 26 elite Undertaker had a simple t-shirt that he never wore. The entrance gear from that night came out in an elite set almost two years later. Jack Swagger's WM26 figure came without his entrance robe, but with a MITB case that had been made for the MITB playset. WM27 Stone Cold had completely inaccurate legs because Mattel didn't have leg parts that were accurate, and didn't have time to make them in that timeframe. I think the only reason anyone expected the entrance coat on a figure this early is that some members are a bit dim and convinced themselves the WM27 Triple H with the Michael Cole parts came out last fall. It didn't, it came out this spring, around a year after the event. If this Undertaker figure was coming out next year, there'd be time to tool the entrance coat. It's perfectly reasonable to not like the figure, but it's dumb to have expected it to be something more than it is. It's the same Undertaker body with new deco, relevant rereleased accessories, and a new head. That's all it was ever going to be.

The head is terrible. But I've never seen a lot of weapons given out like that before.

I honestly think its a cool figure. People can take the jacket from e14 Undertaker and put it on him and its pretty much a match made in heaven...

The figure is great. Just because it doesnt have entrance attire or a new mold doesn't mean its a bad figure. It's featuring updated attire, his new look and the figure looks great. It is a great representation of the current-era Taker. The figure itself really has no flaws, people just wish it had extras with it, but I'd rather have the figure hit shelves earlier than wait three more months to get an entrance jacket.

I want to clarify the "free" thing that keeps coming up. The figure is not 100% Free. He is a give-away with any WWE purchase of $30 or more. IF they have it in stock. Hardly free, but a good deal. This doesn't go into effect until 10/28/2012. Since he is already being purchased in large quantities, throughout the country, I'm expecting he will be harder to find once that promotion starts. My advice, if you already have him, don't open him & hang on to the receipt. Once the promo begins, you can take him back, buy $30 woth of stuff and get him again @ no cost.

Gotta add this. It's funny. I just went to ebay looking for a cheap loose elite Undertaker to scrap for parts, & I saw 35 of these "EXCLUSIVE" Undertakers being sold for as much as $50 bucks. One guy had 10 of them up for sale. Seriously people? Nobody has any patience anymore if people can reasonably expect to make that kind of money on a figure that is, basically, a repaint with a new head that is going to be given away by the company that has chosen to sell it. They goofed up putting it out early. The plan was to use this fig to get people to buy other stuff so they could get it for "free".
