From now on mattel should have hands with moveable fingers. Think about it. You could have SCSA with his middle fingers, John Cena with his OK/Ahole hands (Before you say i know theres already a John Cena with his OK/Ahole hands), Evan Bourne with peace sign, Zack Ryder with LI hands, set it as a fist or have it hold a microphone. I think you get where im going now.

I can already see the price point increasing by $2 because of that. As cool as it would be, not worth it.

I actually hated when Jakks & Toy Biz gave figures movable fingers. they never looked right if they were fully open or fully closed. If anything I'd rather some Elite figures have a pair of personalized interchangable hands as their accessory.

I'd be happy with more personalized hands instead. I want a "you can't see me" Cena hand & a pointer finger for Bryan & Savage.

I'm pretty content on hand molds as they are. They look great, and seem pretty realistic. Sometimes I play around with mine and it just looks goofy having Cena in the ring with his hands in that "OK" position the entire time, or someone with a pointed finger in the air.

You are right that would drive the price up as all that articulation means someone has to put that together in the factory.
In some respects this would be fun but i think the detriment would be that you would not be able to have a good fist pose and have the finger articulation.
Also due to the aforementioned Steve Austin pose. I am sure this is the main reason why Mattel won't do it as they don't want to put their toys in a vulgar light.
Remember that this was done for a few figures back when jakks did the R3 tech line. But they solved the middle finger problem by fusing the pinky, ring, and middle finger together so only pointing could be done.

They can't even put white dots on the figures eyes because it costs money, let alone make new hand molds

I wouldn't want poseable fingers but I would love new hand molds. Just a "pointing finger" would suit many figures like Savage, Bryan, or Sin Cara. That would pay for itself in a flash.

We dont need those white dots on the eyes, just like we dont need opening hands. I had the R3 nWo Nash with the "flexible " fingers and it was terrible. Plus if they did do it i could see people complaining about loose figure joints.

I'll pass on moveable joints on hands, won't look good to me.
Personalized hands would be better like pointing as stated.

It would mean to have more parts just for the movable fingers and then the price of the figures would increase. Not worth it, I like em the way it is. I have no problems with the hands...

i like the way the hands are now. i wasn't a big fan of the old R3 movable fingers. if anything, maybe on exlusives have molded hands if that figure does a particular hand pose.
