In one of the recent Q+A's Mattel said WWE didn't want them making any referee figures, that's why we're getting a special referee HBK. It's a shame we can't find out who at the WWE is responsible for that "decree", so that we can ask them why they want to limit a guy like Charles Robinson or Mike Chioda from any potential royalties that a guy like Tyson Kidd or Curt Hawkins would be entitled to..

I hope the Mattel Team would read this thread.
Anyways a BAF Elite Great Khali would be awesome, Since he is the biggest athlete in the WWE (I think and I hope he is still in the WWE.) BAFS are known for "Bigger and Bulkier Characters" just like Marvel and DC. So instead of just releasing Announcers,Referees and etc. Baf Elite Khali would be awesome to have in the elite line, plus they would need to make one specific body mold just for Khali. would do you guys think? I just don't know if Mattel could budget this.

WWE does not want their referees to be "stars." That's why they don't acknowledge their names or anything on air anymore (which made the Heyman/Lesnar calling out Scott Armstrong seem even more "real").
See what happened with Earl Hebner for example #1 as to why this is.

I still say that NOT acknowledging the referees as characters hurts and limits those people's potential for income (i.e. no games, figures, or t-shirts means no royalties).

The ref could be done as a generic ref. "wwe official". Heck, include it in a basic ring playset. Like the jakks hardcore set that came with JR and hebner. Just make ref generic.

I know it probably won't happen, but I would LOVE an exclusive all-Flashback series (maybe 5 figures?)... it could contain a mixture of brand new figures and repainted/retooled ones (keeping the costs down!) of previously-released guys in their more iconic outfits (eg. Slaughter, LOD, Snuka, or Million Dollar Man in Elite form etc.). Bobby Heenan would be the BAF (of course!!)... 4 parts to make him, and the fifth figure could contain a weasel suit. ;D
I know - dream on....

Legends are pretty much all I collect now. So would love to see some BAF Legends. But in relation to current WWE I would love a new Paul Heyman. Referee Charles Robinson would be my most wanted current figure, but Mattel keeps saying WWE won't let them make a ref... this would be a good way to market legends again! Huge names and collect the baf parts to create a character fron that era. Wwf era: Macho Man, Steamboat, Hogan, and Andrea for Heenan Wcw era: Giant nWO, Scott Hall, Lex Lugar, Chris Jericho for Mean Gene Ecw era: Bam Bam Bigelow, Taz, Dreamer, Sabu for Joey Styles or Heyman!
