So I have done as many and picked up the Legends from KMart for $2 but the Funk and Pillman I have are in horrible condition. At my local TRU, they have both the figures for $15 and both are in perfect shape, would it be wrong of me to buy both Pillman and Funk from TRU and then return the busted up ones to the TRU for an exchange for some other figures?

Not like anyone was gonna buy them at TRU anyway. All is fair in figures collecting and war.

Do you mean the packaging or the figure?

Yes it would be wrong, but your obviously asking for a reason, and im guessing you already did it or are going to do it regardless. How would you feel if you went to buy those ones from TRU and someone already did that to them and now your stuck with those ones. Its not Toys R Us fault you bought some less then fair conditioned figures from another store. Anyone who thinks its ok, should never be bitchin about those "Switcharoo's" either done in stores because this is pretty much the same thing.

I don't agree with doing this like this personally.
Your basically letting someone else purchase your beat up figure.

You should buy the good looking figures at TRU and return your crappy ones to K-Mart.
Or keep the crappy ones as custom fodder and wait til the TRU outs those on clearance. Besides the TRU ones might qualifiy for a COO Triple H.
I know I would buy a 2nd Funk or Pillman to get COO HHH. All I see at my TRU is Rey and Cena and neither one are useful for me to have.

Why bother asking anyone on the boards? Follow your own feelings. You should be able to determine what's right or wrong according to your own values and morals. Anyhow, I say do it! Survival of the fittest! lol

And you are Sunglassessteve, heelziggler, scsa101, wwefan20, thewalkinged, bigdjohnson88, firstplacer, realterrorrising83, etc, etc, who gets banned twice a month, but keeps coming back, so what's the difference. I wouldn't do it personally, but I open figures. For $2, you have to be happy with what you got. However, Its not the worse thing you can do. As long as only the package is damaged.

You are not taking anything away from the product or switching/replacing it.

You know the answer. You are looking to make it feel acceptable by coming here and asking us if we think it would be wrong because if we say that it is ok then that would be enough to pacify your conscience. You KNOW it is the wrong thing to do. Like Jiminy Cricket says "Let your conscience be your guide.".
