Do the Flashback figures not sell as well?

Just wondering if we've had any word from Mattel as to how well or poorly the Flashback figures sell, compared to the rest of the figures in the same series? With these revised cases of Elite 14 and 15 showing up, minus the Flashback figures - does this mean they don't sell as well? It's strange, as they always seem to sell-out first and be more in-demand than the rest of the figures in the series...

They are selling well at one per case.

At one per case they always sell out, have yet to see a flashback shelf-warmer in my area. They are of course harder to find and then bring more money on the secondary market, therefore I suspect they would still sell out if there were more per case. Kind of similar to Divas figs, or figs in suits...Mattel doesn't seem to trust them in spite of the signs of demand for them...

I think its good their 1 per case sure their hard to find ,but if their over produced they start to shelf warm like the legends and i really don't want mattel to scrap the flashbacks like they did the legends , i think the flashbacks they have released so far have sold well and hopefully it will stay that way

They told us at SDCC a few weeks ago that they "finally found something that works" in regards to the old school guys. They plan on continuing FB figures into 2013.

The only FB fig I saw with any regularity was Edge. I have only seen Booker twice, Bossman 3 times, Kane a handful of times and Shango a bit. Ive seen Yoko twice, but I think I just had a lucky finding day.

They sell really well. In fact too well! They are really hard to find for some people. However, I did see some Big Bossmans around for a bit.

I have never seen a Flashback at retail in the UK ever.

They should be 1 per every case and get rid of the revision cases without them.

Totally agree, Id have much more chance of getting them then. Always seem to find Revised cases

You might have better luck at TRU than Smyths... I've found every one at TRU - even 2 or 3 of Papa Shango, Edge and Bossman. The only one I've ever seen in Smyths though was Edge... I think they must sell very quickly(!).

...this is what got me to asking the question in the first place - I mean, if they are selling as well as regular Elites, why aren't they in revised cases? If anything, they seem more sort after than the others, so why wouldn't/don't Mattel put them in every case? It just seems a bit weird...

They dont put them in every case or more than 1 to a case because for them , They cant afford to overproduce something that basically is the same thing as the Legends line. Thankfully we are even getting FB's (legends) thru Elites now. Id rather them be one to a case then nothing at all. ;D

I've found every flashback plenty of times, with a lot of multiples. I could literally go grab 3 Yokos 2 bookers and 4 Bossmen. They sell well, but not gangbusters.

I saw Booker T once at retail. There were 2 on the TRU display months ago. I got one and the guy from T0y W1z grabbed the other. But since that day I've not seen another Booker at retail. Now the E14 Bossman I've seen at least 5 times at retail. E12 Kane & Shango I saw many times. E13 Edge also many times at retail. And with E15 Yoko I've seen 5 so far.

Well Ive tried multiple Smyths and TRU by me and never found them, they're never listed on TRU's website either, so I dunno whats going on up Scotland. But you're very lucky!

BTW what stores you getting them in Scotland?

Hard luck mate and A1 (i know their online prices are mental but i live within 20 minutes of both the stores so 15.99 is not bad) and my local TRU has been a goldmine recently, the reys and stuff actually sell, Yoko and Booker are still their and I can throw a rock and hit about 10 Edges.

In my area Edge sat on the shelf for a long time but other than that they have all sold quickly from what I've seen.
