No he shouldn't feel bad.
Pretty sure people just do this so they get their money back and get to keep the item

I see nothing that's misleading. Personally I think that box with Item Specifics, Condition, etc is B.S. I never even look at it and I agree with you, the shirt can be considered new. Your description was clear.
edit>>I bet if only the shirt was pictured then someone would think it was a life size shirt.

I don't understand, why you would sell a shirt?
Why would someone buy a shirt?
The whole thing makes no sense to me.

Its pretty damn clear if you read the description. Sure the title is weird, but most on ebay are. If they don't take your side initially, you can ask for a review, and they seem to look at them more closely or something. You should win the case. Obviously you got too much for it, but that's not your fault.

Right below in the related there's a BIN for about a 1.00 something more in package. I never understood why people would pay more(especialy if its loose) when there is a BIN for cheaper. SMH
Had the same problem but no refund. Guy complained about a custom item and did the not as described. I called him out on not reading the description.

eBay should take your side. As long as it says "bidding on the shirt only," then your arse is safe!

Please read this auction description and tell me what is being sold "You are bidding on one official Mattel Austin 3:16 figure t-shirt. Stone Cold Steve Austin figure and accessories not included. You are only bidding on the Austin 3:16 t-shirt. This t-shirt was included with the WWE Defining Moments Stone Cold Steve Austin action figure from Mattel." A buyer filed a complaint after receiving the item, claiming it was not as described. I don't think it could have been any more clear. Of course now PayPal has put a hold on the funds and since eBay seems to always screw over the seller, I'm sure they will award the buyer a full refund. Hopefully he uses the money to buy some reading lessons. They are going to go with 'This t-shirt was included with the WWE Defining Moments Stone Cold Steve Austin action figure from Mattel.' meaning 'the shirt was included WITH the WWE defining moments SCSA figure' and thus the buyer is going to get his money back and you are going to be out a shirt. I know my TRU has two in stock so if you want to buy a new one for shelf price plus shipping let me know and I will be happy to help you out.

Well damn. That was me just trying to super specific about where the shirt is from. I guess you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. I'm holding out hope that the fact that the buyer is claiming the description was altered after it ended as proof it was always clear.

It has been the rare case I have ever had to file a complaint and it was always because the item was broken due to bad packaging or the item never arrived at all. Those buyers who basically do legalized chargebacks on eBay via this method are complete scum and should be prosecuted if a case can be made against them because it is blatant theft.

I agree with Common Terry. The buyer should have slowed down and read the description. I've always been this way with figures on eBay. It can get weird on there, wouldn't y'all agree?
But if I were you Common Terry, I honestly would have emailed the buyer. Just to make sure they understood it was just the shirt. After like $10 I probably would have got curious. Not to mention $20+ ? I'd be thinking what the frig does this person want a $26 figure shirt for. At least if you would have emailed them you could always used that as backup. Hoping for the best for you though bud.

Ppl on eBay are stupid and never read anything. Even if they go against u cuz eBay n pp are scam artist themselves who always seem to side with the buyer, u can dispute the case. Either call eBay or PayPal and explain your side. Usually have a better outcome that way.

Ebay always f's with the seller. I once sold a Rock build n brawl and it was a nightmare. In the description I clearly stated I would be shipping in an brown paper envelope. So the person who bought from me later filed a claim because he didnt like that it was shipped in an envelope. The guy claimed I sold him a damaged package figure as a MOC figure. Apparently he never thought that something being shipped in an envelope would be touched and handled by anyone but me and him. Because we all know the USPS treats packages like egg shells, with high care.
I dont know how many times I had to email ebay and tell them the way the item was to be shipped was in the shipping section of the auction. I ended up having to call and speak to a representative. I ended up keeping the money for the figure but I got a negative feedback.
Since then I always ship in a box. The only downside is now the person buying from me has to pay more for shipping.

The shirt is from the DM Steve Austin and has not been used or played with.
Figure is not included.
This is for the Shirt only.
