That Sucks. Did the Storage place have Surveillance cameras? Yes they do, but only at the elevators and exits.

I feel for you! Good luck! I learned a long time ago, you never keep anything of any importance or value in a storage unit.

Sucks. My sister had it happen to her when they were building their house last summer. I would never use a storage place. Everyone I know of has always had stuff stolen from it and usually from the people that work there.

thats ed up. That must be a lousy facility for someone to be able to just walk in with bolt cutters, the place I had my stuff in had cameras, 24 hour surveillance, and you had to enter your unit number and a code to get in or access the elevator, and the elevator only took you to the floor that your unit was on. Make sure to file a grievance with the company on top of everything else. Aside form the fact that there was a leak and a lot of my clothing and some books got moldy, nothing ever happened to my unit, my dad emptied it and took everything with him when he moved to Florida and he's been shipping my stuff to me here and there

I've always thought about what I'd do if my figures got ruined or something. We have home owner's insurance, but the thing with something collectible like wrestling figures is that, even if you DO get all your money back, you're never going to find any of the stuff you bought at a reasonable price again. All the money you get back won't even be enough to buy back all of your ruined or stolen items.

You should keep an eye on the bay and Craigslist. See if you notice anyone posting alot of the figures you had.

dude, wow, pick a safer storage place and ditch this one! if 12 lockers got broke into, it cant be a good place, and invest in a bigger, better, more badass lock!!! Sorry for the terrible news though.

Sad to hear that, just look at the bright side. You got insurance to cover for it. U can now restart your collecting. It will be hard at first, but later on you will move on and possibly even better collection quality wise!
