Why do people on here call the dull/non VUM WHC inaccurate? Have you guys seen the actual belt? It's not a bright gaudy piece of silvery gold, y'know. This has confused me since the Elite 10 Kane came out, and with the recent reveal of the Elite 17 Sheamus coming with the dull title reigniting the complaints, i thought I'd point this out. Basically, this: is a lot more accurate to how the title looks in real life: Unlike this, which doesn't even look like real gold:

The older belt was duller....the newer one with the red backing is shinier.

This is nothing new myself and others have said that since they released the second version. Sure the vacumized belt is flashy being shiny, but unlike the WWE title the belt isn't shiny in real life. I personally like the duller one and I think the molder rubber ones that come with the Target exclusive FlexForce sets is even better as it curves around the figure.

Although the fact that the picture you posted was taken in an open environment, under the sun, might be the reason for the best looking as shiny as it does. Can i get some pictures of it around figures' waists and such. I've seen them MOC but they just appeared to be the same as the dull Elite ones.

i don't mind if the belt isn't shiny. I am more annoyed that the red jewels aren't painted on.

Granted, you shouldn't have to do it in the first place, what with the retail price being so high as is, but still. @pj: Thanks a lot! That belt definitely looks to be the best of the bunch, I especially like how it looks on the Triple H figure.

agreed, I prefer the dull version aswell because it's more realistic. after seeing the FlexForce belt I gotta say it seems like it's the best so far

May be less to do with people saying it's inaccurate than just feeling like they're getting their money's worth for a higher-quality belt.
Either way, I have no preference really. What I'd really like to see is a WHC with the red backing, but I doubt we'll get that anytime soon with all their attempts to keep costs down.

Looks like I gotta buy a Flex Force figure. Which figure/pack does that belt come with? I never look at FF stuff, outside of when that short-haired Punk came out.

The one I got was from the Series 1 Target Exclusive 2-Packs and came with Orton & Rey(?) There's also a US title set and a WWE title. Now they (Target) have 2 or 3 new sets with the same belts. not sure who is with them as I only piced up the World title set.

Umm That undy pic of the belt looks pretty close to shiny WHC. lol... maybe you need to relook at the pics. The dull only has more detail since its not a hard plastic. But the shiny belts are far more better. I have a dull US title an i hate it..

Has it really been officially confirmed that the belt comes with Sheamus? The guy who took the pic added Jakks Socko so maybe he just added the belt as well?
But I don't mind the shinny version. I do like the rubber belts from PJ's pic, I just wish the painted detail on them and maybe used a gloss to give them some shine. But overall they fit much better.

The guy also had a halfassed Diesel when he posted his Elite 16 protos. The final product was far better than his figure. Obviously, the guy is simply getting protos and not finished poroducts. That's why I hate veryone complaining about this stuff because of one Facebook user piosting some protos of figures we've already seen. At SDCC, Sheamus didn't even have the World Title. Why are we to think that he'll come with it now just because some Facebook user puts a belt on him?

I think the detail is easier to see on the dull belts, and in the case of the World Heavyweight belt I didn't mind it being dull at all. I agree, the red jewels are an important bit that break the monotony of a single colored piece. About the only thing I don't like are the unpainted basic belts, although I am glad to have the basics coming with accessories at this point.

The dull WHC is much more accurate, both in color and shine, to the one Taker has on his shoulder. And wait, what? I thought hard plastic WOULD have more detail? As far as the US Title goes, the dull one is better because of its accurate scale and sculpted detail. Maybe it's just a magpie thing that makes you prefer the shinier belts. Me, I just prefer what's more accurate.

I'm not going to defend any of those dull looking belts.
I just don't like them.

Shiny is accurate. Compare it to today's belts, not the past champions.
