Oh well guess mattel doesn't want people's money. I don't care for the new slam city stuff, but really why would anyone bother when they just killed a line that people cared about for a similar though cheesier line.

It's a shame they've discontinued the line, I really liked some of the guys they made in it. I'd never buy a Yoshi Tatsu figure other than the rumbler. On the plus side I've picked up like 6 2packs for under 4 pound in the last week. Still need warrior though

Sadly I knew when the first Slam City stuff turned up that it was the end of Rumblers...
It really is a shame, they just should've kept Rumblers Rampage instead of these freaky things.
Well, thanks to ebay I buy the only Slam City item worth it: the new belt.
If Rumblers failed it was because of the 2-packs with Cena, Miz, Rey, Punk: a mistake they seem to be making again with Slam City...

I was somewhat disappointed to see this line go away.., now I'm working to shore up a few last pieces.
Did anyone see the rumblers with a DVD at Walmart? If so snd you still have some unopened I'm very interested... These never hit my area

I have MOST of the Rumblers line, just missing a couple of the triple packs, but in Tesco the other day, I picked up a Yoshi Tatsu & Zack Ryder twin pack, purely because his sunglasses were missing, no sign of them in the box, nogaps in the bubble etc so assuming it must have been a factory error, great little addition to the set

Disappointed to see Rumblers get the axe in favor of these new Slam City things. I wonder what leads Mattel to belive they'll sell better than Rumblers.
Anyway, I'm kinda new to the whole collecting thing... Was picking up the Rumblers here and there because they didn't take much room and were fairly cheap. Been toying with the idea of selling my Rumbler collection to make some room and add some funds to my "new figure fund". Do people still have interest in Rumblers? In other words, would it be worthy actually trying to sell them or is it better just to keep 'em since they don't take up much room? Figured I'd ask here as you folks would probably know best.

Sad day but not shocking! I think mattel killed it when they made apptivity, rampage and kept repeating figures. Rumblers had less than 50 wrestlers ever made in four years hhmmmm is it just me or is that a problem? Oh well I guess I will save $ WWE slam city may have a similar fate we will see in two years if I see the same scenario mattel will have made wwe lose money on my behalf.

Got my first Rumbler for Valentines Day and I'm hooked. Just bought a lot of 11 on 'bay for 19.99. Kinda feels good.

Check your Kmarts for cheap Rumblers. Everything related to Rumblers is on clearance there, including all of the playsets.

Walmart too. In the clearance isle though. $3 singles and $5 or $7 doubles. Seen diferent at different stores. And those giant Rumblers are $5.

They could've done a lot more with rumblers. They were the only non-basic/elite wwe thing that I could handle

I was late getting into the Rumblers line but really enjoyed collecting them. I bought a variety of characters and even tried my hand at some customs. Bought a few extra sets on clearance, to have a nice size collection to give my future kid so he or she can have some wrestlers like dad. Kinda bummed that they dropped this line. Probably wont buy any Slam City.

For being disappointed and saying they won´t buy the new line, think of what people said about the mattel transition years ago. The same thing. Slam City is the essentially the same, if you enjoy rumblers, you can just keep collecting these.

I really like Rumblers but Slam City gave me CM Punk as an ice cream vendor so it's not all bad.

I love Punk and ice cream, but those damn stretchy arms were wobbling around in the packaging and it wasn't working for me. I miss you little Rumblers!

Of all the first group of Slam City figures, picked up The Finisher just because I wanted to check out the new scale. I posted pictures earlier in the thread, but he works fine for a big monster sized figure.
My first real test of my interest going forward, since most of the figures in the first batch were already released as Rumblers, was the 2 pack with Sandow and Del Rio. And I just couldn't do it. Sandow just didn't fit with the Rumblers.
Doubt there is any chance of these showing up on MattyCollector, the previous WWE figures didn't do well enough, and now the Masters of the Universe minis don't seem to be selling in a hurry either.
Amazon has Slam City Fathead wall decals, there's an Austin in there.

Check your Goodwill stores. Found a ton of Target clearance Rumbler 2 packs. Ryder, Yoshi, Booker, Cody, Christian, etc. $2 each.
