Just checked eBay and good golly Miss Molly $172 bucks + $10 in shipping with over two days left? The figure is worth it but why did Mattel decide to short pack a figure that sells for that kind of change? I mean aside from the rarity and number of collectors which does increase the price of any given figure Kevin Nash has always been a good selling figure and I just don't understand the reasoning behind Mattel producing fewer of his figures. Unless this was the only way Mattel could do Diesel and Kevin Nash. Maybe they wanted to make sure they could do both while they had the chance or if something was going on with the rights to make him. I don't know. Maybe the price will settle once it hits retail. I just know I want that figure.

I know right! They short package guys that will sell faster than hot cakes but put tons of guys that just shelf warm. Its sad for me to say this but I might have to pass on Kevin Nash just because he is so expensive and just so rare.

Not to say that Kevin Nash isn't worth it, because he totally is and this is a GREAT figure, but there are so many other in that price range that are retired figures that I would like to have first which means Mattel isn't getting my money. It is going to be some guy or gal on the second hand market who gets that cash instead of Mattel.

Yea I agree with Mattels decisions to short pack divas and jobbers, and some legends like Magnum TA if ever released, but KEVIN FREAKIN NASH is short packed This is insanity I'm sorry...Mattel is wondering why legends didn't work, it's becaus they flooded us with bushwhackers and Nikolai Volkolf and then short pack MANKIND YOKOZUNA AND KEVIN NASH!! WHAT A WASTE

WHAT A WASTE I love Nikolai Volkoff. I love seeing legends but it makes no sense that someone with the star power and multi-generational name recognition like Kevin Nash is short packed. Next time Mattel does this Kevin should ask for a case of his own figure. He could rake in the cash auctioning them himself or selling them at signings because this is ridiculous.

Oh and by the way...these haven't hit retail yet, when they do, they will become somewhat more plentiful...that Nash on eBay is the ONLY ONE available anywhere on the net right now...and some impatient idiot will pay it!! Wait it out and when they series hits full retail, it will still be rare, but should be attainable for $34-$40, maybe $50/$60 if people get nuts

I know I'm going to regret saying this but even in my crappy area of CT, I never missed an Elite at retail. I don't mind paying a premium. Nine times retail seems excessive, I could easily find better items to spend that money on. What can you do, the bidders either have way more disposable income or they really love Kevin Nash.

Do you think Nash will settle around there? I think it will settle for around $80+ but you never know.

As much as I would like to have it, aint no way in hell I would drop that much. The short packing stuff frustrates the hell out of me and Im sure it does everyone. What do you do though...

Where I live, Walmart and Kmart have been stocking E14 for the last week. Yesterday must have been truck day at TRU because today I saw remnants of E15 for the first time. Patience.

Once E16 hits full retail, it's going to settle around the $30-40 but after a couple months, it's going to go up again just like how E12 Kane is.

It's funny how his figure is just like him in real life, demanding way more $$$ than he's worth.

In the end this only hurts Mattel, whos ever spending that kind of money could have used that money to by more figs at retail. Money out of Mattels pockets when stores cant move in new product becomes there is so much shelfwarming junk and the few super rare figures make this kind of buck on the secondary market.

Exactly my point in much clearer wording. Thank you. I mean how can we get Mattel to get the hint that we want their figures, we want them to be available and that we don't want to fork over our cash to scalpers when we could be forking it over to them. Then Mattel complains that figures don't sell besides Cena, Mysterio and Orton. Well you know what Mattel? THOSE ARE THE ONLY FIGURES YOU MAKE AVAILABLE TO THE AVERAGE COLLECTOR WHO CAN'T STALK THEIR LOCAL STORES EVERYDAY LIKE IT IS THE MIDNIGHT RELEASE OF A HARRY POTTER BOOK!
