Bill said the Entance Stage isn't coming out until fall as well as the display tag yet we were told "anyday now" by MDT. Which is it? I normally would take Bill's word for it but with the RAW Cenas popping up (that to had a fall tag) already I would like to think the Stage isn't too far behind. I am also not going to anticipate a "New Scale" he kinda skirted around that issue so my guess is... it's not gonna happen. fall assortments are going to stores now... remember that stores stay one season ahead of where we are really at... so i bet it will be hitting late july through august in most areas...

Well that would make sense. Kmart is supposed to be WWE's Merchandise HQ and it has been a long time since they had a big promotion so I am guessing Summerslam will be the next display. With some members find E15 and the new Cena fig I would like to think that perhaps some Kmarts are early releasing some things but will have a display or endcap soon. Lord knows my Kmart could use it. The last time they got Elites in was late Feb and it was E12, now with one lone Orton remaining. Bout time they got some new sh*t.

Is anyone going to transcribe the Q&A?

Just a couple things:
- I chose the Q & A questions.
- We're in a weird spot where we know a lot of information about the line so the 'giant revelation' questions we got when it first launched are now going to be few and far between which I think some are having a hard time adjusting to.
- Asking the same question over and over and over and over again when Mattel has given a resounding or definitive 'no' is not going to get a different answer. Many of you know the answer to the questions you repeatedly ask.
- I absolutely will not have designers be asked distribution questions. This is not their department and despite them giving insight into it on the boards here and there, not something they need to be faced with.

This is not their department and despite them giving insight into it on the boards here and there, not something they need to be faced with. That's a very accurate observation Tom. They are designers, so my question to you is: why do you always skip my question to MDT about leg sleeves? That's a design issue isn't it? It's also an economical question considering the cost of plastic these days. Leg sleeves take more plastic that medium-sized knee pads, and other than some wrestlers on the modern roster that do wear them - they are quite inaccurate. As for play value, it limits the double-joint knee articulation considerably! Maybe all those Bills on the MDT team answered this for you and Tim off-screen, but I'd really like to know why they keep giving leg sleeves to guys like Punk when they have perfectly find medium-sized knee pad molds to use? What's the design decision behind that?

It can't be an issue with the kick pads because they've released plenty of Daniel Bryan figures with the smaller knee pads.

i'm pretty sure they've mentioned that they use the leg sleeves because it doesn't leave any visible skin.

i'm pretty sure they've mentioned that they use the leg sleeves because to doesn't leave any visible skin. Well that's fair enough, but like I mentioned, they've used the same kick pad/knee pad combo on every Daniel Bryan figure.

articulation, functionality, accuracy, cost effective use of plastic > exposed skin
did that Bill in the soccer jersey design the leg sleeve mold? I just don't understand why they are so committed to it.

Hasn't the knee pad question been answered before? I'm not trying to sidestep it but I was under the impression that they had just answered it publicly (that being the case, I don't remember the answer) because it's been asked for so long.

Just exposed skin issues? Then why does Punk get leg sleeves and D Bry get conventional-sized knee pads? It doesn't make sense. I know budget for production looks at volume of paint applications, quantity of accessories included, and available body parts/new tooling necessary. Could it be that due to Punk's massive paint application needs, they have to include the leg sleeves? But don't leg sleeves use more plastic than medium sized knee pads?

Definitely not sure. Like I said I was under the impression that it had been answered because it's definitely a recurring question but if no one can find a definitive answer I'll make sure it gets put in next time the questions are up to me.

All of this really just begs the question of why they don't make a kickpad-specific kneepad anyway? All it would need is a little more coverage around the back of the knee joint.
