Mine would be
1. John Cena (really hard not to make all five) 2. Alberto Del Rio 3. Ryback 4. Sheamus 5. Brodus Clay
Underrated
1. Dolph Ziggler 2. Cody Rhodes 3. Christian 4. Kofi Kingston 5. Wade Barrett
Those are my 5 over and underrated current WWE Superstars.

1.- 3. John Felix Anthony Cena (I get it, kids love him, make a wish champion, etc. I'm just tried of seeing him all the time. All the talent they have, 2 world titles and he still closes every freaking show.)
4. Alberto Del Rio 5. Wade Barrett (just don't see it)

Everyone who's ever wrestled on WWE television ever is overrated. They're also all my favorites. But still overrated.

By WWE: #1. Alberto Del Rio(Tries to be JBL. He's NOT JBL) #2. Big Show(It's time for him to hang up the boot's. There is nothing left for him to do) #3. David Otunga(The coffee mug is more over then this guy) #4. Rey Mysterio(Stunning ring work in the 90's and early 00's, Now? all he does is kicks to the leg and 619) #5. Kelly Kelly(I like he but she comes off as a Torrie Wilson wannabe)
By the IWC #1. Danial Bryan(I like the guy and all but the IWC make him out to be jesus!) #2. Curt Hawkins(He's good and all but he just does not have the "IT" factor) #3. Zack Ryder(See Hawkins) #4. Trent Barreta(Never saw the big deal with this guy) #5. Tyler Reks(Owe's his job to Hawkins)

It really depends on your definition of overrated or underrated. CM Punk is terribly overrated in every possible way, he is nowhere near the best in the world, and his mic skills are right out of the John Cena handbook.
Alberto Del Rio is underrated in that he is a good wrestler, and plays his role very well (though I agree he rarely says anything profound when talking)
On the other hand, Cody Rhodes is rated just fine. He is a great wrestler, an excellent speaker, and plays his role to perfection.
These are both subjective terms, nobody really rates Brodus or Sheamus highly as wrestlers or talkers despite their current pushes, so I can't really rate them as overrated. On the other hand, as popular as Ryder is, and as much as I like him, and as decent of a wrestler as he is, he is pretty much a novelty, so i cant really rate him as underrated. They have little control over their card placement, same with Cena. In regards to internet fans, CM Punk is unbelievably overrated in speaking and wrestling. He really doesn't impress me at all, though I was a huge fan of the SES, that was a gimmick.
I guess if I had to name overrated and underrated performers: Wade Barrett is a little overrated, though I am a huge fan, and am not at all bothered by his rating I think Tensai is a little underrated based on nobody giving him a chance to develop. His match with Sheamus was excellent for what it was. Ted Dibiase is rated just fine. He may be a great technician, but has no charisma, and awful mic skills. I would say DBry is slightly underrated, believe it or not. He is an excellent wrestler, but this YES! Nonsense is sort of cramping his heel style. He is capable of more, but YES! Is turning him into a novelty. I would say McIntyre is underrated because they gave up on him fast. It was a case of too much too soon, and he never recovered. Ziggler is rated just fine, because he is good, and he is ready,
What some people need to realize is that being good and getting credit for it doesn't make you overrated.

How does Tyson Kidd make one's overrated list?
Anyway, I don't do discussions of overrated/underrated: I think it's silly.

I think Sheamus is pretty damn good in the ring. He has all the basic skills, a wider moveset than pretty much 90% of the roster as well as a unique look and personality.

I am not denigrating Sheamus, I like him too. I am just saying he isn't largely viewed as a great wrestler, so he cannot be overrated. He is one of those guys who is rated just fine, though saying that he has a wider moveset than 90% of the roster is a stretch.
