He wasn't fully healed and got a concussion that could happen to anyone. Right...

I'm so sick of this guy. He was never anything special in the ring, his gimmick and his promos are boring and repetitive, and he just really isn't very good. Not saying I'm glad that he got hurt, but it's time to cut the cord with this guy or at the very least get him the hell away from the main event scene.
He tore his groin, like, back in January, right? How could he not have fully healed by now? He didn't wrestle for five months...if he still hasn't recovered, the guy is made of glass.

I was never a fan of Alberto Del Rio; his character isn't entertaining and he does not spend enough time wrestling for his in ring abilities to impact my opinion. Sorry if he was seriously injured, but I'm glad Ziggler gets the title match he's deserved for years instead.

Have you ever torn or seriously injured your groin before? They're some of the most difficult injuries to come back from. Especially if you tear it completely from the bone and decide to let it heal naturally and not with surgery. Im not sure how Del Rio went about it though and just how serious his was....The point is its not like an ACL tear or something. You can easily stay off your knee/ankle/elbow but try doing just everyday stuff like taking a shower, or sitting down, without using your groin muscle.

Keep him off TV. I genuinely prefer Ricardo Rodriguez. He's even a better wrestler in reality.

I can't stand the guy, so my view is; who cares.
His loss is our gain. Ziggler>>>>>>ADR and he is much more deserving anyways.

I honestly don't get all the hate for Del Rio. I actually like him a lot and I think WWE is kind of missing the boat on a great direction to take his character in. When I look at Del Rio I see someone who can play a role similar to Ric Flair or Triple H, in which he is a heel champion who always has other people do his dirty work but when his back is against the wall he can get the job done. Basically, he should have long title reigns in which he always manages to get away with cheap title defenses. I really feel like he should be the leader of a faction or at least have some lackeys to do his dirty work for him.

Del Rio is a talented competitor who is (and is likely to continue to be) a victim of WWE's rushed booking. He was thrown into things way too fast. He wasn't ready, the crowd wasn't ready, and he's been suffering ever since.
Nothing about Del Rio is on par with his in-ring ability, and so his overall character suffers dramatically. He's a one trick pony in terms of charisma, and he's yet to do anything interesting enough to warrant being a main event player.
Couple that with the number of injuries he's had, and it's tough to envision him staying at the top of the totem pole much longer.
While I certainly don't wish injury upon him, I think Sheamus/Ziggler is a far more intriguing match-up with greater potential.

My thoughts on Del Rio are somewhere between Thug and J12. I wanna like him, but they (WWE/him) haven't given me much to work with.

He isn't gonna be around that much longer. He's this era's Kennedy/MVP/Lashley/Carlito... rising star that they will let go.

They need to get his character right and give him a stable, and were he pays off superstars to do dirty work for him. A stable of like him, Hawkins/Reks & there could be a storyline of Dibiase's family going broke and he joins Del Rio, so him Hawkins & Reks and Ted Dibiase Jnr.

It's a shame he's injured again, but what can he do? It's not the first time it's happened to him.
He's okay, but he's not terribly over, IMO.
