I haven't opened mine yet. But looking at it, doesn't appeal to me too much.

You people are crazy, I don't buy mattels but even I know that figure is great - light years ahead of the jakks.
Maybe these kind of responses are why the Legends line died?

Yeah it's just a bad figure, the facial likeness is terrible. I'll pass on this one and just stick with Jakks' version although admittedly it wasn't much better.

I like the figure. There's no major problem like there was for DDP IMO. Sometimes I feel he could be bigger but then I look at pics in his wrestling gear where he's about the same size as his figure... And when you put him next to other figures I feel it's about right. His weight did fluctuate.
I agree he should come with more and alougth I do like the cloth singlet on bigger guys like Show and Andre its a shame his straps don't stay in position.

The cloth singlet seems like a cheapo Jakks move, and the lack of a new torso makes him waaay too skinny/muscular. Bundy, Andre, or Yoko never had a lot of muscle definition in the chest, and it just looks weird.
I might pick up Bundy if he goes on sale, but he'll take a lot of sculpting/fixing up to look great.

I have a problem with it.......the main isssue with the jakks one was that his legs were too big. Now we get that same exact problem with mattel. The cloth singlet and the ripped arms and chest also are pretty big negatives. Bundy was one of the guys i voted for and now im not sure if im even gonna get it.

I wasn't a big fan of the cloth singlet but after getting the figure I think it looks better in person. If Mattel had gone with a painted singlet, I bet everyone would be calling that a cheap move. The singlet and t-shirt were the only logical items to package with a Bundy.

I hate cloth singlets.... I love this bundy figure but there is No way a cloth singlet can replicate bundys singlet. It should have been molded, then it would have had a new chest mold, I feel andre's should have been molded as well.
Cloth singlets are just a cost effective way to re-use torsos. so now they can re-use andres torso for any big guy with a singlet/shirt.... its not right imo

The Legends line has been forced into online exclusive distribution, the price point has jumped to $20 because of the (I'm assuming) lower production numbers and higher cost of plastic. The cheapest form of shipping is worth $8 but some of you guys like 2-day and over-night so the cost is a bit more. Mattel has thus far provided 1-2 pieces of accessories with each released Legend while their recent Flashbacks have 3+ accessories. And they are flat-out refusing to re-include those figure stands that probably cost them pennies to manufacture.
So now we have Bundy.
They re-used Andre's torso!!!!! It just boggles my mind to think that currently on the WWE Roster, Brodus Clay is getting ample TV-time, has a basic figure out already, will probably have an elite figure out shortly AND shares the closest torso shape to Bundy who had a body like an egg. Yet they don't invest in the tooling necessary to create this torso knowing very well they will re-use it for Elite Brodus....
Cloth singlet - some of you guys like it, but I feel it should be sculpted (again Brodus Clay could use it in at least 4 colour variations - green, red, white, and black, like Mark Henry!). So the cloth singlet ends up fitting him so awkwardly, that it doesn't look accurate.
Ugh.
I know most of you are happy with Bundy and some of you couldn't care for upcoming Arn & Tully, but from a consumer perspective those guys are coming with the 80s-style WWE tag belts. That one accessory alone blows everything else we've received out of the water because you can strap that on your Demolition, Shiek/Volkoff, LOD, even on your Rockers & Twin Towers if you wanted to. Your Roddy Pipper would look silly wearing a Bundy t-shirt.
Bundy is a disappointment.

everyone has an opinion. I think Bundy is perfect. the shirt is just extra. Its a very plain figure. Mattel does bigmen very well I agree with joerocco

I dont understand why people complain about Bundy. $28 for a decent figure that comes straight to your door. OR you can pay $50+ for another figure (Yokozuna) that comes straight to your door (because a lot of us wont find it in stores) I think we should prioritize our bitching!!

But if you like mediocrity, then who am I to judge.

As a consumer we have a right to dislike it, I still bought it but I'm disappointed in it. It looks more like my unmasked Kane let himself go.

I don't get the complaints... Yes, it's reused parts, but they work for him.
The face is perfect. I will never understand those complaints. It looks exactly like him.
Sure, the cloth singlet isn't quite right, but it's not horrendous either.
I will agree that the arms are small, but that's about it. Personally, I'd have also given him the claw hand for a "5 count" pose, but that's a personal issue and doesn't reflect the figure quality.

The singlet kills it. It doesn't hang low enough, which, to my mind, is what makes it classic Bundy. It probably should have been sculpted. The knee pads and debatable head sculpt don't help either. He'd be a fine buy at retail, but with the shipping charges, it's hard to justify him for the total cost.

People have a misconception that KKB was much bigger and fatter than he actually was. He was never anywhere near as fat as Yokozuna.I have reference on him from both his WWE runs and the figure matches the proportions in those shots. If you are disappointed by that there is nothing really I can say.

i just want to throw this nugget of info out there. i work in the rubber/plastic industry. have done so for the past 4 years. in those 4 years, i went from a parts inspector, to a press operator, to a dept lead. when i moved up to an operator, i started to get fed the numerics of our operations. the presses, the big 10 feet tall by 12 feet wide massive multi-ton presses each cost anywhere from $60,000-150,000-THOSE are all chinese made machines that have an old school push button interface, analog dials and meters. the AMERICAN made-all digital computer/robotic assisted machines start around $200,000-and the sky is the limit;can be upwards of a million for a sweet ass technological beast of a press. i assume that mattel incorporates the american made robotic assisted injection machines to make figs-i have absolutely no idea for sure. THEN-the molds. depending on the intricacy of the molds and the items being produced, the steel molds can cost anywhere from a pretty simple $2000-all the way up to $100,000. and this "RE-TOOLING" everyone speaks of yet seems to know nothing about, depending on the modifications being done, can cost anywhere from $20,000-$100,000+. with that specific tool being out of use for months at a time. and that doesnt even include the trial runs needed after the mold returns to make sure it will perform optimally. so to all of you wise guys out there scoffing- "oh they can/should just re-tool it". no. i will guarantee you money that mattel would much rather continue pumping out figures at a steady rate than gamble on taking a mold out of production and spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to modify it to please the internet nitpickers. the more you know..............
