Not a fan of this to say the least. What's the point of the weightbelt if it can go over his shirt?

I'd cut off my left thumb if he would have had brown hair instead. I know black is accurate for that era, but I want that grinning scan of my Legends Savage so badly.

I wasn't impressed with this figure initially and I rarely preorder but for this figure, I may have to pull the trigger. Very well done from top to bottom. If I had to gripe about one thing, it would be the head sculpt as I'm still not sold on it. But I do know he has a really hard likeness to capture. Great figure, I'm buying!

I just have two very minor gripes about this figure:
1. - The shades are the wrong kind. The sunglasses Savage wore are, as shown in the picture of him, a sportier Oakley-like shape, whereas this figure comes with are just those old goggle-style shades that he wore throughout the early to mid 90's.
2. The boot tassels don't fit the tall boot mold. the tassels came out from the top of the boots if I'm not mistaken, these fit around the middle. Strange looking...
Now that having been said, I pre-ordered two of these babies the first day they were available. I have ALWAYS wanted a Savage in THIS EXACT NWO gear, so I'm pleased as f*ck. Overall, GREAT JOB MATTEL.

Without the bandana he looks like lanny poffo. The figure is fantastic though.

If you look at the pic with the closeup on the head w/sunglasses, you can make out what I would call an outline that, if trimmed around, would form the model of sunglasses he actually wore at the time. A little customizing of the glasses could make it an exact replica.
